"Apocalyptic thinking is in the
air," University of Connecticut psychologist Kenneth Ring says. "As we approach
that subjective date, December 21, 2012, images stored in the collective unconscious begin to populate
our dreams and visions." And nightmares, of course. There are, a lot of people who
think that a Global Catastrophe will soon be here -- around the year 2012, as a matter of
fact.
Religious fundamentalists
believe that
cryptic verses in the Bible's apocalyptic texts actually refer to a nuclear Armageddon
within the next few years. At the same time an astonishing number of people claim to be in
contact with UFOs, and the message they are getting from the "space brothers" is
that time is running out for our planet. The Hopi prophecies tell
us that our world is currently teetering on the brink. The Mayan/Aztec calendar points to
the year 2012 as the end of this age, an age that began more than 5,000 years ago.
"Since 1945 it began to be technologically feasible
to end life on this planet," muses Michael Grosso. a philosophy professor at Jersey
City State College, who contemplates starting a newsletter called _Millennium Watch_.
"The prophetic symbols percolating in the collective unconscious of the West are now
assuming an objective content they never had before." Now the lamentations of the
early prophets are infused with the reality of H-bombs, chlorofluorocarbons, chemical
weapons plants, oil spills, Massive Solar Ejection, holy wars, and mutual assured destruction.
Many people feel that the world is now so
hopelessly sinful, or just plain messed up, that there is no possibility that it can
survive," notes Daniel Cohen, author of _Waiting for the Apocalypse_. Religious
tracts begin to assume a kind of logic, and you can notice eerie coincidences between
Ezekiel and the UFO people, the Hopi and Edgar Cayce, Nostradamus, Our Lady of Fatima, the
Mayan calendar stone, and the National Academy of Sciences, all of who agree we're in
perilous times.
Sixteenth-century French prophet
Nostradamus foresaw 1999-2013 as a time of tremendous upheaval, wars, even (possibly)
nuclear annihilation. Edgar Cayce, the famous "sleeping prophet" of Virginia
Beach, Virginia, saw 1998 as the beginning of a New Age -- right before a catastrophic
shift of Earth's axis. Jeanne Dixon foresaw an evil and charismatic Antichrist leading the
youth of the world astray in this first decade.
New Age millennialists focus on the year 2012 as a
collective turning point for humanity, a shift into a more ethereal kind of consciousness.
One can't help noticing that an awful lot of people are looking forward to the end of the
world. Religious fundamentalists expect to be supernaturally "raptured out" of
the coming cataclysm; New Age millennialists try to "heal the planet" with love
and good vibrations. Bob Nelson, also known as Mobius Rex, a California radio talk-show
host and author of _Prophecy_, a compendium of doomsday predictions across the ages,
expects that "less than one third of the world's population will be around by
2020." He adds, "It might be best for this planet and humanity if this
civilization collapses as quickly as possible.
As 2012 approaches we have a growing
list of what "experts" feel might occur. Despite the sincerity and
long-winded explanations, it's all just guesswork. There is no scientific
evidence that anything untoward will happen in 2012. All we have to suggest
that 2012 will be any different to 2011 or 2013 is that the Mayan Long Count
calendar ends on Dec 21, 2012. The Mayans themselves had almost nothing to
say about what the end of the calendar held for humankind, and this suggests
that they merely inherited the calendar from an earlier culture. In deciding
which of the many possible calamities are more likely to wipe us out in
2012, the possibility of an ancient culture predicting such for 2012 must be
taken into consideration.
Here's our
list of possibilities, ranked on 3 criteria; the relative odds of happening
this century, of happening in 2012, and of the ancients being able to
predict such a thing. Regarding aliens and a religious apocalypse,
they are on the list due to the billions of folk that do believe in them

Asteroid/Meteor/Comet
Ancient, advanced civilizations have one distinct advantage
over us - they may have observed the skies for longer, and may have spotted
an orbit that will culminate in a collision with Earth in 2012. This is
easily the most predictable disaster for 2012. With recent discussion of
"dark comets", we have become aware of the possibility of our planet being
struck with little or no warning.
A comet or asteroid will
collide with Earth between 2013 and 2023, and civilization will end as we know it.
Jeanne Dixon prophesied that a comet would crash into the earth around 2013, causing
massive tidal waves and flooding. Nostradamus also seemed to be referring to an
extraterrestrial object when he predicted that "a great spherical mountain of seven
stades [about a mile in diameter] will roll end over end, sinking great nations."
Comet disaster was also predicted by Hildegard of Bingen (1098-1179). (Hildegard was a
twelfth-century Jeanne Dixon. Adviser to three popes and two emperors, she had a pretty
good track record, predicting the coming of Protestantism and the fall of the Holy Roman
Empire.)

NASA said there
was no chance 2005 YU55 - the scientific name for the asteroid -
would veer off course and strike the planet
- and they were right.
“...it will be no closer than 201,700 miles
(324,600 kilometers) or 0.85 the distance from the moon to Earth,” NASA
wrote. “The gravitational influence of the asteroid had
no detectable effect on anything here on Earth, including our planet’s
tides or tectonic plates.”
The asteroid is known to be 1,300 feet (400
meters) wide. To give you a relative sense,
Eric Holthaus at the Wall Street Journal wrote
that’s twice the size of American Museum of Natural History in New York
City.
William Hooke of the American Meteorological
Society said its diameter is “slightly
greater than the length of the Herbert C. Hoover Building – the
Department of Commerce headquarters, occupying an entire city block of
downtown Washington, D.C.”

What could happen if an asteroid this
massive were to strike Earth?
“It would create a crater two miles wide and
release as much energy equivalent to about one third of all the nuclear
weapons on earth,” Holthaus said.
Putting it another way, the Post’s
Brian Vastag wrote:
“...it would explode like 500 nuclear bombs, trigger a 7.0 magnitude
earthquake and, if it splashed down in the ocean, generate a 70-foot
tsunami...”
For perspective, the asteroid that may have
finished off the dinosaurs 65 million years ago was perhaps 10-20 times
bigger and contained 1,000 times the energy of 2005 YU55 the AMS’
Hooke wrote.
What’s the risk that a dangerously large
asteroid might collide with the Earth and cause catastrophe in the near
future? Low,
Vastag reported:
Since a humble start at a single
telescope in the 1980s, NASA’s $5 million-per-year asteroid-tracking
program has matured to the point where the agency said in September that
it has detected more than 90 percent of “planet killer” asteroids, those
bigger than one kilometer in diameter.
Space.com wrote
the next time an asteroid as big as 2005 YU55 comes close to Earth will
be in 2028.
March 2011
This past
March 2011 a large asteroid passed within half a million miles of Earth, or twice the distance
between our planet and the moon. This particular asteroid, a quarter to half a mile or
more in diameter and zipping along at 46,000 miles per hour, would have hit Earth with an
impact that would have obliterated New York City or Los Angeles. It would have carved out
a crater half a mile deep and five miles wide. A water impact, according to
NASA's Bevan
French, would have created waves several hundred meters high that could have swept over
coastal areas.
A "Killer
Comet" Is Possible.
The comet that exploded over
the Siberian forest in 1908 (the so-called Tunguska Event) was estimated by
Russian scientists to have been several miles in diameter and to have
weighed close to a million tons. But a really big comet could be a hundred
miles in diameter and would do some real damage.
We can't be blasé about the
asteroid that just missed us. Scientists report that this collection of rock and dust
orbits the sun once a year and regularly buzzes our planet. "Sooner or later,"
say Henry Holt, scientist emeritus at the U.S. Geological Survey in Flagstaff, Arizona,
who discovered the asteroid, "it should collide with the earth or the moon."

LONDON (July 24) - A massive asteroid could hit Earth in
2028, destroying life as we know it, a British space expert said on Wednesday.
The asteroid -- the most threatening object ever detected in
space – is 1.2 miles wide and apparently on a direct collision course with Earth.
"Objects of this size only hit the Earth every one or two
million years," said Dr Benny Peiser, an asteroid expert at Liverpool John Moore's
University in northern England.
"In the worst case scenario, a disaster of this size would
be global in its extent, would create a meltdown of our economic and social life, and
would reduce us to dark age conditions," he told Reuters.
But Peiser and other space experts say they are pretty confident
this nightmare scenario will not come about.
"This thing is the highest threat that has been catalogued,
but the scale in terms of the threat keeps changing," said Peter Bond, spokesman for
the Royal Astronomical Society.
"If it did hit the Earth it would cause a continental-size
explosion...but it is a fairly remote possibility."
The asteroid -- named 2002 NT7 -- was first detected earlier this
month by the United States Linear sky survey program.
Since then, Peiser said scientists at the U.S. National
Aeronautics and Space Administration's (NASA) near-Earth objects team and at Pisa
University in Italy have carried out orbit calculations to work out the probability and
potential date of impact to define the risk it poses.
Their calculations show it could hit the earth on February 1,
2019.
"The impact probability is below one in a million, but
because the first impact date is so early -- only 17 years from now -- and the object is
very large, it's been rated on the impact risk Palermo Scale as a positive," Peiser
said. "It is the first object which has ever hit a positive rating." Scientists
warn, however, that the risk rating has not been reviewed by the International
Astronomical Union, which is the main international body responsible for announcing such
risks.
Peiser said 2002 NT7 would continue to be monitored by space
experts across the world, and that over time, these observations would probably erase the
threat posed by it.
"In all likelihood, in a couple of months additional
observations will eliminate this object from the list of potential impacts," he said.
"I am very confident that additional observations over time will...show that it is
actually not on a collision course with Earth."
But he warned that the world should take this as wake-up call and
set about preparing for the reality of an asteroid hit in the future.
"Sooner or later -- and no one can really tell us which it
will be -- we will find an object that is on a collision course. That is as certain as
"Amen" in church. And eventually we will have to deflect an object from its
collision course," he said.
At the moment, he added, scientists fear it could take at least
30 years for the world to be able to devise and set up a mission to deal with such a
threat -- a timescale which would be woefully inadequate if the 2019 strike were to
happen.

coastal cities submerged, with the Carolinas and Georgia sinking into the Atlantic.
There's a basis for this: a recent phenomenon, the greenhouse effect. The burning of
fossil fuels and erupting volcanoes cause an increase in carbon dioxide, which in effect
turns the atmosphere into a greenhouse. The CO2 absorbs infrared rays and prevents them
from radiating back into space, and we all end up like hothouse tomatoes. A little side
effect is that the polar ice caps melt as the temperature soars upward by as much as 9
degrees Centigrade during the next century. Ocean levels rise seven to twenty feet,
submerging the Nile Delta, the Louisiana Delta, and the New Jersey wetlands.

Coronal Mass Ejection (CME) From
Our Sun
A CME was behind the
solar storm of 1859.
It occurred in September of that year, causing the failure of telegraph
systems across North America and Europe. Accompanying the storm were auroras
that are normally only seen in the Arctic and Antarctic, but were visible as
far south as the Caribbean. Typically we would expect a storm of 1859's
magnitude cause power blackouts and wreck satellites. But do we really
know how big they can get? In 2009 NASA told us to be wary of solar
storms, and warned of the dangers to America's ancient overloaded power
grid. Being without power for a few months, in the developed world, is a lot
more serious than most people realize.
Our civilization
could face widespread power blackouts and be left without critical
communication signals for long periods of time, after the earth is hit by a
once-in-a-generation “space storm”, NASA has
warned.
National power grids could overheat and air
travel severely disrupted while electronic items, navigation devices and
major satellites could stop working after the Sun reaches its maximum
power in a few years.
Senior space agency scientists believe the
Earth will be hit with unprecedented levels of magnetic energy from
solar flares after the Sun wakes “from a deep slumber” sometime around
2013, The Daily Telegraph can disclose.
In a new warning, NASA
said the super storm would hit like “a bolt of lightning” and could
cause catastrophic consequences for the world’s health, emergency
services and national security unless precautions are taken. Scientists
believe it could damage everything from emergency services’ systems,
hospital equipment, banking systems and air traffic control devices,
through to “everyday” items such as home computers, iPods and Sat Navs.
Due to humans’ heavy reliance on electronic
devices, which are sensitive to magnetic energy, the storm could leave a
multi-billion dollar damage bill and “potentially devastating” problems for
governments.
“We know it is coming but we don’t know how bad
it is going to be,” said Dr Richard Fisher, the director of NASA's
Heliophysics division.
“It will disrupt communication devices such as
satellites and car navigations, air travel, the banking system, our
computers, everything that is electronic. It will cause major problems for
the world.
“Large areas will be without electricity power
and to repair that damage will be hard as that takes time.”
In an interview with The Daily Telegraph, he
added: “Systems will just not work. The flares change the magnetic field on
the earth that is rapid and like a lightning bolt. That is the solar
affect.”
A “space weather” conference in Washington DC
last week, attended by NASA scientists, policy-makers, researchers and
government officials, was told of similar warnings.
While scientists have previously told of the
dangers of the storm, Dr Fisher’s comments are the most comprehensive
warnings from NASA to date.
Dr Fisher, 69, said the storm, which will cause
the Sun to reach temperatures of more than 10,000 F (5500C), occurred only a
few times over a person’s life.
Every 22 years the Sun’s magnetic energy cycle
peaks while the number of sun spots – or flares – hits a maximum level every
11 years.
Dr Fisher, a NASA scientist for 20 years, said
these two events would combine in 2013 to produce huge levels of radiation.
He said large swathes of the world could face
being without power for several months, although he admitted that was
unlikely.
A more likely scenario was that large areas,
including northern Europe and Britain which have “fragile” power grids,
would be without power and access to electronic devices for hours, possibly
even days.
He said preparations were similar to those in a
hurricane season, where authorities knew a problem was imminent but did not
know how serious it would be.
“I think the issue is now that modern society is
so dependant on electronics, mobile phones and satellites, much more so than
the last time this occurred,” he said.
“There is a severe economic impact from this. We
take it very seriously. The economic impact could be like a large, major
hurricane or storm.”
The National Academy of Sciences warned two
years ago that power grids, GPS navigation, air travel, financial services
and emergency radio communications could “all be knocked out by intense
solar activity”.
It warned a powerful solar storm could cause
“twenty times more economic damage than Hurricane Katrina”. That storm
devastated New Orleans in 2005 and left an estimated damage bill of more
than $125bn (£85bn).
Dr Fisher said precautions could be taken
including creating back up systems for hospitals and power grids and allow
development on satellite “safe modes”.
“If you know that a hazard is coming … and you
have time enough to prepare and take precautions, then you can avoid
trouble,” he added.
His division, a department of the Science
Mission Directorate at NASA headquarters in Washington DC, which
investigates the Sun’s influence on the earth, uses dozens of satellites to
study the threat
The government has said it was aware of the
threat and “contingency plans were in place” to cope with the fall out from
such a storm
These included allowing for certain transformers
at the edge of the National Grid to be temporarily switched off and to
improve voltage levels throughout the network.
The National Risk Register, established in 2008
to identify different dangers to Britain, also has “comprehensive” plans on
how to handle a complete outage of electricity supplies.

There
will be a Physical and/or a Magnetic Pole Shift
The earth hurtles through space at 67,000
miles an hour. Think of it. What if you drove your Ford
Mustang that fast down an
interstate? And what if you piled too much luggage on your roof rack? Why, you'd topple
ace over teacups when you hit the first good curve. That's essentially what happens in a
Pole Shift. Namely, too much ice is melting on the polar ice caps
and this water will
eventually make its way into the sea. There will be less weight on the poles. This will
cause the earth to destabilize, topple and the poles will shift, maybe in a matter of
hours, maybe in days. As you can imagine, this would be very, very bad: enormous tidal
waves, electrical storms with hurricane winds, tremendous earthquakes and lava flows; even
poisonous gases. The Celtic Church of Dynion Mwyn, Inc. as well as many psychics who
have staked their reputations on this happening: Edgar Cayce, Immanuel Velikovsky, and
Nostradamus, among others have stated this is what will happen. Plus hints of a pole shift
can supposedly be found in the Bible and Native American prophecies, according to John
White, author of _Pole Shift_.
Crustal Displacement - a
physical pole shift. The mechanism is not understood, and most theories are
just wild guesses. However it seems quite likely we had one 12,000 years
ago, and what goes around, comes around. Charles Hapgood provided
substantial evidence for a pole shift at that time, and Allan and Delair
have added to it in their book Cataclysm!: Compelling Evidence of a
Cosmic Catastrophe in 9500 B.C. Take into account that Albert Einstein
endorsed Hapgood's ideas, and we have something to worry about.
Some scientists think a pole shift is a possibility.
"It's a consideration," says Donald Trucotte, chairman of the department of
geological sciences at Cornell University. "Pole shift is a well-established
principle. It's the same concept as continental drift. Continents shift around the earth,
so it's possible that poles might shift toward the equator.
Another possibility is that the Magnetic
poles will shift without a physical shift of the continents, but also both scenarios might
visit us.
Magnetic Pole Shift
- pole reversals have been happening on average once every 400,000 years,
with the most recent one being 730,000 years ago - so we are well overdue.
Not only do we not know much about reversals, scientists are still unsure
about how our magnetic field is generated. Long thought to be a by-product
of the movements of liquid iron in our planet's core,
recent studies are
suggesting that our salty oceans might be the cause. Scientists suggest a
geomagnetic reversal takes thousands of years and does no harm. They are
wrong - it could just as easily happen overnight. No mechanism is known for
the cause of the
magnetic poles swapping places.
Our magnetic field is known to be rapidly declining (10% in the last 150
years), and the magnetic North pole is moving around at an accelerating pace
- it has been predicted it will move from Canada to Siberia in the next 50
years. These changes could be indicating an imminent reversal.
There WILL be a
magnetic pole shift soon. There MIGHT be a physical pole shift also
depending on how much of the polar ice melts and how soon.

How do you
prepare for a polar shift?: prepare a place of safety on high ground as far
from the sea coast as possible. You want to be in a safety zone where there
are few earthquakes and no danger of tidal waves.
5. Earthquake Cataclysm
Because of a physical
pole shift, the earth will shake and split asunder. Buildings will
topple. Coastal cities will slide into the oceans and be seen no more. Just about
everybody with apocalyptic thinking agrees. Nostradamus and Edgar Cayce both predicted
widespread earthquakes around the year 2013 - 2023. Hildegard of Bingen prophesied quakes,
and psychic archaeologist Jeffrey Goodman predicted that the U.S. coastline would end up
in Nebraska and Kansas by the year 2023.
It has been nearly
two centuries since a series of three magnitude-8 quakes shook the
then-sparsely populated Midwest, centered near New Madrid, Missouri. Another
big one is inevitable. Now the region is heavily populated, yet building
codes are generally not up to earthquake snuff. What's
more, geology east of the Rockies causes quakes to be felt across a much
wider region. Shelves would rattle from Boston to South Carolina. Some homes
along the Mississippi would sink into oblivion.
Geologists know
it's just a matter of time before another 9.0 or larger earthquake strikes
somewhere between Northern California and Canada. The shaking would be
locally catastrophic, but the biggest threat is the tsunami that would ensue
from a fault line that's seismically identical to the one that caused the
deadly 2004 tsunami in Indonesia.
The Book of Revelation describes a terminal
earthquake, and even Isaiah said: "The earth will reel like a drunkard and it will
sway like a hut ... until it falls, never to rise again." This will be the
result of the Ice moving from the poles. Take a
look at what recently happened in Japan with a Earthquake/Tsunami
combination. It actually MOVED the entire Island several feet and some
cities on the coast are slightly underwater during high tides. Yes it
will happen.
Another danger which is
more local, is that a landslide from a large Volcano on one of the Canary
Islands causes a large Tidal wave which spreads out and inundates the East
coast of the United States, Canada and parts of South America.

Around this time of the
year many Britons look towards the Canary Islands for a sunshine break.
What most don't know, however, is that on one of the Canary Islands lies
a major global catastrophe in the making, a natural disaster so big that
it could flatten the Atlantic coastlines of Britain, Europe, North
Africa and the United States of America and cause enormous damage to
London and other UK cities. Scattered across the
World's oceans are a
handful of rare geological time-bombs which, once unleashed, create an
extraordinary phenomenon, a gigantic tidal wave, called a Mega Tsunami.
These are able to cross oceans and ravage countries on the other side of
the world. The word Tsunami derives from the Japanese for harbor
wave. They are normally generated by offshore earthquakes, sub-marine
landslides and undersea volcanic activity, and range from barely
perceptible waves to walls of water up to 300 feet high.
Recently, scientists have
realized that the next Mega Tsunami is likely
to begin on one of the Canary Islands, off the coast of North Africa,
where a wall of water will one day race across the entire Atlantic Ocean
at the speed of a jet airliner to devastate the east coast of the United
States, the Caribbean and Brazil.
Dr Simon Day, who works at
the Benfield Greig Hazards Research Centre, University College London*,
says that one flank of the Cumbre Vieja volcano on the island of La
Palma, in the Canaries, is unstable and could plunge into the ocean
during the volcano's next eruption.
Dr. Day says: "If the
volcano collapsed in one block of almost 20 cubic kilometres of rock,
weighing 500 billion tonnes - twice the size of the Isle of Wight - it
would fall into water almost 4 miles deep and create an undersea wave
2000 feet tall. Within five minutes of the landslide, a dome of water
about a mile high would form and then collapse, before the Mega Tsunami
fanned out in every direction, travelling at speeds of up to 500 mph. A
330ft wave would strike the western Sahara in less than an hour."
Europe would be protected
from the fiercest force by the position of the other Canary Islands, but
the tsunami would still bring 33ft waves to Lisbon and La Coruña within
three hours.
After six hours it would
reach Britain, where waves up to 40 ft high would hit southwest England
at 500 miles per hour, travel a mile inland and obliterate almost
everything in its path. Even Britain's more sheltered shores, in the
North Sea and Irish Sea, will be struck by smaller but still significant
swells, causing widespread flooding in major coastal cities.
"We need better models to
see what the precise effects on Britain will be." Dr. Day said. However,
it is likely that London could suffer sever inundation as the Thames
Barrier's ability to cope with such a dramatic rise in water levels
exceeds its design specifications.
"The Thames estuary is
already subject to major tidal surges," says Dr. Day, "and the Mega
Tsunami could raise water levels by as much as 20 feet, with the surge
travelling up the river at some 200 miles per hour." Devastation along
both banks of the Thames would be huge, with many parts of the City and
areas along both the north and south banks of the river as far as Putney
Bridge and beyond experiencing severe damage. The effects on the London
underground are hard to imagine, but the entire network would become
flooded and the consequent loss of life would be immense."
Indeed, parts of London
would be uninhabitable for perhaps months and the cost of repairing and
rebuilding the damage would be astronomical. Imagine, if you will, what
effects such a massive inundation would have on some of our major public
buildings near the Thames; The Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey,
Canary Wharf, Buckingham Palace, The Tower of London, and the South Bank
are only a few of the many London landmarks that would be severely
damaged, as indeed would the entire City of London.
However, the destruction in
the United Kingdom will be as nothing compared to the devastation
visited on the eastern seaboard of the United States. Dr. Day claims that the
Mega Tsunami will generate a wave that will be inconceivably
catastrophic. He says: "It will surge across the Atlantic at 500 miles
per hour in less than seven hours, engulfing the whole US east coast
with a wave almost two hundred feet high "
Sweeping
away everything in its path up to 20 miles inland. Boston would be hit
first, followed by New York, then all the way down the coast to Miami,
the Caribbean and Brazil." Millions would be killed, and as Dr. Day
explains: "It's not a question of "if" Cumbre Vieja collapses, it's
simply a question of "when".

Prepare For Tsunamis
Already, some communities along the Atlantic
Seaboard are setting up tsunami warning systems. The threat of
tsunamis isn't as great as with Japan or Indonesia but it is most
certainly real and prudent to plan ahead because landslides happen
on the East Coast as well as the Canary Islands.

MIDWAY, Ga. - Standing outside his home
along the Medway River 8 miles upstream from the Atlantic Ocean,
John T. Woods III has a hard time imagining a towering tidal wave
one day crashing over the dock where a lone fisherman stands casting
his line.
Yet emergency managers here in Liberty
County soon plan to post a warning sign near Woods' house depicting
a stick man running uphill from a monstrous wave and declaring the
surrounding area a " Tsunami Hazard Zone."
I have seen small tsunamis caused by
distant storms or close-by giant container ships. These usually only
discomfort swimmers and suntanning beach-goers. But when the earth
heaves and shakes, great tsunamis can form and they can travel
across entire oceans and swamp and destroy everything well inland.
The East Coast of the USA doesn't get the heroic, big waves that
crash into California, for example. Most of the big waves are winter
storm waves. Icy as the oceans off Alaska, they hammer the rocks
that protect the beaches around NYC during high winds coming from
the backside of blizzards.
The other source of great waves is
hurricanes in summer and fall. The backside of the eye of a
hurricane is the most dangerous portion of these mighty storms. But
hurricanes hearld their coming with many signs and significant
displays. The high cirrus clouds, the brilliant sun rises or sun
sets, sea birds fleeing inland, these and the rising seas well
before the first puffs of wind, give warning.
But earthquakes give little to no
warning. Like we witnessed so clearly in Indonesia with many people
filming this horrific event, the earthquake caused some damage and
killed people in Ache but then within a mere few minutes, the sea
came rushing in, killing hundreds of thousands of people. All over
the world between Asia and Africa, the seas rose up in many places
and swept away helpless people.
The most dangerous zones are places
where the continental shelf falls into deep trenches. These places,
if there is a landslide, can heave the water upwards and produce a
tsunami thanks to prevailing winds if they are blowing landwards.
High tides are more dangerous than low tides, of course.
Potential landslides on the outer
continental shelf and slope along the Mid-Atlantic coast could
trigger tsunamis that might have devastating effects on populated
coastal areas. In a paper published in the May 2000 issue of the
journal Geology,Neal Driscoll of the Woods Hole Oceanographic
Institution and colleagues Jeffrey Weissel of Columbia University’s
Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory and John Goff of the University of
Texas at Austin say newly discovered cracks along the edge of the
continental shelf could be an early warning sign that the seafloor
is unstable in these areas.
These cracks, together with evidence of
past landslides in the same area, indicate the sea floor could
slump, or slide downhill like an avalanche, triggering the waves.
Wave heights similar to the storm surge from a category 3 or 4
hurricane, up to several meters above normal, could occur along the
Virginia-North Carolina coastline and lower Chesapeake Bay, the
areas of highest risk.
Before the Great Boxing Day Quake showed
us clearly how dangerous tsunamis from underwater landslides can be,
scientists have been speculating about this here in America. Some
geologists think large bolders found in the hills of the Bahama
Islands came there via tsunamis caused by earthquakes, for example.
The researchers recently discovered a
system of cracks along a 40-kilometer (25-mile)
section of the outer continental shelf off southern Virginia and
North Carolina, north of Cape Hatteras. These
(en echelon) cracks, a
series of cracks offset like the shingles on a roof, are located
in water depths of 100 to 200 meters (about 300 to 600 feet)
between the Norfolk Canyon and the Albemarle-Currituck submarine
slide, which occurred approximately 16,000 to 18,000 years ago
In that article, they show marine photos
of these cracks. I dig a lot, using backhoes and such. When I see
these sorts of cracks, I warn people to stay back, the bank is going
to give way. Any event like a heavy rainstorm can free up the earth
and cause a collapse. This is the same with avalanches in snow
country: usually there are deep fissures before the snow lets loose
and goes flying down the valley.
I live in the mountains and I patrol for
such cracks in the hillsides above me. In California, many people
ignore such cracks prefering the 'monkey no see/monkey no need to
do' ethos. This fatalism reaps its own rewards eventually.
The magnitude Mw *= 9.3 Sumatra
earthquake of 26 December 2004 claimed the lives of an estimated
300,000 people living in coastal areas of seven different
countries around the Indian Ocean. This event raised the
question of whether similar far-traveled tsunamis generated by
plate boundary faulting could affect the estimated 150 million
people living in coastal areas of the United States, including
Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Aside
from the Pacific plate margin of North America, the North
America-Caribbean plate boundary is the closest (˜ 2000 km)
active plate boundary to coastal areas in the Gulf of Mexico and
the U.S. Atlantic seaboard. Researchers also have proposed that
other possible tsunami-generating sources that could affect
coastal areas of the United States include slumping of the shelf
margin along the Virginia-North Carolina margin [Driscoll et
al., 2000] and slumping of volcanic edifices in the Canary
Islands [Ward and Day, 2001].
Unlike the collapse of the subsiding
seabed in Indonesia off Sumatra, the Eastern Sea board's landscape
isn't as prone to earthquakes. The dangers for us is much more
invisible and insidious.
The U.S. East Coast continental slope
from Norfolk Canyon south to Cape Lookout, North Carolina
represents a dramatic physiographic and sedimentological
transition between the Middle Atlantic Bight (MAB) province of
major submarine canyons and the South Atlantic Bight province of
the Blake Plateau (BP)
The central portion of this region,
just north of Cape Hatteras, is unique hydrographically: 1) as
the zone where the northward flowing Gulf Stream meets the
southward flowing Virginia current and 2) as the zone where the
Gulf Stream crosses the underlying southward flowing Western
Boundary Undercurrent
For quite a few years, geologists and
people like me have fretted about the possibility of a great
landslide from distant volcanoes causing giant tsunamis. I used to
live in one of the most exposed parts of Long Island: Coney Island,
and only one block from the ocean. Kept me awake some nights.
A collapsing volcano in the Atlantic
could unleash a giant wave of water that would swamp the
Caribbean and much of the eastern seaboard of the United States,
a scientist has claimed.
Dr Simon Day, of the Benfield Greig Hazard Research Centre at
University College London, UK, believes one flank of the Cumbre
Vieja volcano on the island of La Palma, in the Canaries
archipelago, is unstable and could plunge into the ocean.
The only good thing about this is, as
Africa rotates into Europe and causes volcanic activity on the
Atlantic northern edge, at least any tsunami triggered by a collapse
of one of these volcanoes will give us a long warning. But emptying
out much of NYC takes many hours since the entire place is a series
of islands. With only a handful of bridges. And all the bridges in
Brooklyn lead to other islands! There are no others!
If everyone in Manhattan evacuates to
the upper floors of the towers there, and there are many such, that
would probably be sufficient. But most of Brooklyn is lowlands
except for Park Slope where I used to own a brownstone. That might
(maybe) be safe. All of Long Island would be doomed. And they have
only two bridges into the lowlands of Conn. Everyone in Conn would
have to flee north and west and we are talking what? 10 million
people here?
And up to the Watchung Ridge in New Jersey!
Another couple million. We have the same problem Indonesia has: it
is nearly impossible to evacuate the huge populations that lie in
the path of tsunamis.
More than any community on the entire
East Coast, NYC and Long Island are the very hardest to evacuate in
case of war or natural disaster.
We have the services of many good
geologists but there is a problem; we like living on volcanic rifts,
next to ocean cliffs about to collapse into trenches, causing
tsunamis, we love California, one of the world's most dangerous
geological places outside of Sumatra, we love hurricane zones and
other things that are dangerous because in between moments of great
destruction there are long periods of pleasant living. Who can
resist that?
Frankly, I loved living right next to
the ocean. Even during hurricanes, I was one of the last to
evacuate. I even swam in the wild seas before a hurricane years ago.
Nearly got killed. It was most exhilarating. But I will admit to
having dreams of the ocean suddenly rising up and filling the house,
we lived on the third floor of this Victorian summer retreat...and
engulfing us. I never have that dream here on my mountain (it is
replaced with dreams of being snowed under or blown off!).

Explosion From The
Black Hole
At The
Center Of
Our Galaxy
In 1983 Dr Paul LaViolette described the dangers of a
Galactic core explosion. He explained that it would generate a cosmic ray
superwave, and it would be signaled by a gamma ray burst (GRB
see below). He
also warned us that a gravity wave might travel ahead of the superwave. If
seems likely that the
2004 tsunami was
caused by a gravity wave, because the accompanying GRB arrived just 21
hours later, and was the brightest ever observed, 100 times brighter than
any other seen in recorded history. This gravity wave did not come from our
galactic center, but if it had, perhaps the effects would have been much
worse.

Most religions predict such a day. Conspiracy theorists
suggest that many world leaders have apocalyptic beliefs, and may even be
attempting to cause Biblical prophecy to be fulfilled in 2012 via their
actions. If it helps, the Bible says “But of that day and hour knoweth no
one, not even the angels of heaven, neither the Son, but the Father only.”
But then again, maybe God changed his mind since the Bible was written, and
told some people the date of the apocalypse? Maybe he told the ancient
Mayans? Possibilities could be argued ad infinitum

The word
Armageddon
appears only once in the
Greek New Testament. The word may come from
Hebrewhar məgiddô (הר מגידו),
meaning "Mountain of
Megiddo". "Mount" (actually a Tel) Megiddo is a small mount or hill on
which ancient forts were built that guarded the main highway, the
Via Maris,
that connected
Ancient Egypt with
Mesopotamia. Megiddo was the location of many decisive battles in
ancient times (including
one in the 15th century BC and
one in 609 BC). The
town Megiddo in Israel is approximately 25 miles (40 km) westsouthwest
of the southern tip of the
Sea of Galilee (or Lake Tiberias to the Romans) in the Kishon
River area.

Alien Invasion
There is no evidence, but
plenty of believers! Tied in with this are recent crop circles that have
2012 and Mayan themes.
If aliens are the creators of crop circles, then one would expect the
circles to be a warning of sorts. (We believe that

Gamma Ray Burst (GRB)
A 2004 study
told us that a GRB from a distance of just one kiloparsec could destroy half
of Earth's ozone layer. It suggests that historical mass extinctions may
have been caused by GRBs.
NASA explains how "gamma-ray radiation from a relatively nearby star
explosion, hitting the Earth for only ten seconds, could deplete up to half
of the atmosphere's protective ozone layer. Recovery could take at least
five years. With the ozone layer damaged, ultraviolet radiation from the Sun
could kill much of the life on land and near the surface of oceans and
lakes, and disrupt the food chain."
Gamma-ray bursts are short-lived bursts of
gamma-ray
photons, the most
energetic form of light. At least some of them are associated with a special
type of
supernovae, the
explosions marking the deaths of especially
massive
stars.
Lasting anywhere from a few milliseconds to
several minutes, gamma-ray bursts (GRBs)
shine hundreds of times brighter than a typical supernova and about a
million trillion times as bright as the Sun, making them briefly the
brightest source of cosmic gamma-ray photons in the observable
Universe. GRBs are
detected roughly once per day from wholly random directions of the sky.

Cosmic Rays
Scientists have yet to
work out where most high-energy cosmic rays come from. Either an increase
striking our atmosphere, or a weakening of our shields, will let in more
cosmic rays. They are already zipping through your body every second, and
they could end up being our silent killers. As one example of their danger,
airlines do not let pregnant women work on their inter-continental routes,
because of the increased exposure to cosmic rays at those heights.

It might not be swine
flu, but flu researchers say a deadly pandemic is not a case of if, but
when. Our generation is generally unaware of how bad the pandemic of 1918
was - it killed 50 million people. It was the number one cause of death
amongst soldiers in WW1. Being killed by the enemy came second.

Super Volcano
These are real, they
have caused great catastrophes in the past, and we have no idea when the
next eruption will be. Some believe Yellowstone could explode again soon, as
it has been exhibiting signs of unrest, with earthquake swarms, ground
deformation and considerable heat and gas emissions. If it did erupt, expect
half of the USA to be wiped out, and major variations in global climate for

What is a super volcano?
A
super volcano
is the most destructive force on this planet. Only a few exist in the world
and when they erupt they do so with a force tens of thousands of times
greater than other eruptions. They lie dormant for hundreds of thousands of
years as a vast reservoir of magma builds up inside them before finally they
unleash their
apocalyptic force,
capable of obliterating continents. They threaten the survival of mankind.
What happened during the last eruption of a super volcano?
Toba, Sumatra, 75,000 years ago.
It had 10,000 times the explosive force of Mount St. Helens and changed life
on Earth forever. Thousands of cubic kilometres of ash was thrown into the
atmosphere - so much that it blocked out light from the sun all over the
world. 2,500 miles away 35 centimetres of ash coated the ground. Global
temperatures plummeted by 21 degrees. The rain would have been so poisoned
by the gasses that it would have turned black and strongly acidic. Man was
pushed to the edge of extinction, the population forced down to just a couple of thousand. Three quarters of
all plants in the northern hemisphere were killed.
What causes super volcanoes?
Calderas. When
a normal volcano erupts lava gradually builds up in the mountain before
releasing it. In super volcanoes when magma nears the surface it does not
reach it, instead it begins to fill massive underground reservoirs. The
magma melts the nearby rock to form more extremely thick magma. The magma is
so viscous that volcanic gasses that normally trigger an eruption cannot
pass, so a massive amount of pressure begins to build up. This continues for
hundreds of thousands of years until an eruption occurs, which blasts away a
huge amount of ground, forming a new caldera.
Where are there other super volcanoes?
YELLOWSTONE CALDERA
Not all super volcanoes have been found,
but one of the largest is in Yellowstone Park, USA. Scientists searching for
the caldera in the park could not see it because it was so huge - only when
satellite images were taken did the scale of the caldera become apparent -
the whole park, 85km by 45km, is one massive reservoir of magma. The idyll
landscape of Yellowstone could soon explode with devastating
consequences.
When will it next erupt?
Scientist have discovered that the ground in
Yellowstone if 74cm higher than in was in 1923 - indicating a massive
swelling underneath the park. The reservoir is filling with magma at an
alarming rate. The volcano erupts with a near-clockwork cycle of every
600,000 years. The last eruption was more than 640,000 years ago - we are
overdue for annihilation.
What would be the effect of an eruption?
Immediately before the eruption, there would
be large earthquakes in the Yellowstone region. The ground would swell
further with most of Yellowstone being uplifted. One earthquake would
finally break the layer of rock that holds the magma in - and all the
pressure the Earth can build up in 640,000 years would be unleashed in a
cataclysmic event.
Magma would be flung 50 kilometres into the atmosphere. Within a thousand
kilometres virtually all life would be killed by falling ash, lava flows and
the sheer explosive force of the eruption. Volcanic ash would coat places as
far away as Iowa and the Gulf of Mexico. One thousand cubic kilometres of
lava would pour out of the volcano, enough to coat the whole of the USA with
a layer 5 inches thick. The explosion would have a force 2,500 times that of
Mount St. Helens. It would be the loudest noise heard by man for 75,000
years, the time of the last super volcano eruption. Within minutes of the
eruption tens of thousands would be dead.
The long-term effects would be even more devastating. The thousands of cubic
kilometres of ash that would shoot into the atmosphere could block out light
from the sun, making global temperatures plummet. This is called a nuclear
winter. As during the Sumatra eruption a large percentage of the world's
plant life would be killed by the ash and drop in temperature. Also,
virtually the entire of the grain harvest of the Great Plains would
disappear in hours, as it would be coated in ash. Similar effects around the
world would cause massive food shortages. If the temperatures plummet by the
21 degrees which occurred after the Sumatra eruption, the Yellowstone super volcano
eruption could truly be an extinction level event.
SANTORINI CALDERA
Another Super volcano is
Santorini located on the Aegean Volcanic Arc. See next chart.
Santorini caldera is a large, mostly
submerged caldera, located in the southern
Aegean Sea, 120
kilometers north of
Crete in Greece.
Visible above water is the circular
Santorini island
group, consisting of
Santorini (aka Thera),
the main island,
Therasia and
Aspronisi at the periphery, and the
Kameni islands at the
center.
The volcanic complex of Santorini
is the most active part of the
South Aegean Volcanic Arc,
which includes the volcanoes of
Methana,
Milos, Santorini and
Nisyros. It marks the
subduction of the African
tectonic plate
underneath the Aegean subplate of the Eurasian tectonic plate, at a rate of
up to 5 cm per year in a northeasterly direction. It is characterized by
earthquakes at depths of 150–170 km.
The Kameni islands at the center of the
caldera are made of lava rocks.
LAACHER SEE CALDERA
Fresh activity near a dormant 'super
volcano' in Germany has left experts worried about a possible eruption.
Britain's Daily Mail wrote the eruption from the 'monster' underneath
Laacher See lake near Bonn, could eject billions of tons of magma which in
turn could cause widespead devastation in Europe and even 'short-term global
cooling'. The mountain last erupted 12,900 years ago. Volcanologists have
estimated the mountain's size to be similar to that of Mount Pinatubo in the
Philippines - responsible for the biggest ejection of the 20th century.
Pinatubo threw up '10 billion tons of magma, 20 billion tons of sulphur
dioxide 16 cubic kilometres of ash and caused a 0.5C drop in global
temperatures'. Experts near the Laacher See site have detected carbon
dioxide bubbles on the lake's surface and believe the mountain in Germany
could be active again.

It will only take an
increase of a couple of degrees to make life very difficult for most humans.
Luckily for us, it is unlikely to wipe us out as early as 2012.
2023 maybe. But 2012 is too soon!

Time Travel Error
Someone from the
future ventures into our past and causes a conflict in the time-space
continuum... if it causes us harm in 2012, maybe someone managed to zip back
in time and warn the ancients of it?

Nanotechnology
While this might
have health concerns when used in everyday products (ie sunscreen), the
doomsday risk is when self-replicating little thingies are developed. Search
for "grey goo". Fortunately 2012 seems too soon for some mad scientist to
let the goo loose.

Nearby Supernova
Experts say that
no supernova candidates are close enough to harm us. But how many supernovas
have they observed? This is where, after the fact, scientists proclaim "but
of course! Why didn't we see it?"

We blindly
take vaccinations, and we might be sheep when it comes to "gene therapy" as
well. Our desire to live longer might just be our undoing.

Nuclear War
There's an exchange of missiles and
a lot people die. Others die of radiation. But enough survivors climb from the wreckage to
rebuild civilization. The Dynion Mwyn, The Hopi, Mayans, Nostradamus, the Seeress of
Prague, and the Fatima prophecy all agree. The Hopi said that "gourds of ashes"
will fall from the sky, causing a disease for which there is no cure. Nostradamus
predicted a horror "enclosed in containers. Launched from a fleet of ships, in a
single night it transforms a city to dust and vapor...." The seventeenth-century
Seeress of Prague, who predicted Queen Victoria and Hitler, described a war in which men
"will sow a Mushroom, whose Seed will fall from the Sky to Earth....Life is wiped
out." The 1917 Fatima prophecy predicts a great war in which "fire and smoke will fall from heaven, and waters of the
oceans will become vapors....Millions and millions of men will perish...and those who
survive will envy the dead." Nuclear holocaust is going to be terrible. Our
only hope is to count on the corruption of the defense industry and the ineptitude of the
military: Maybe none
The scientific news of the decade, however, is the nuclear
winter theory, which holds that where there's fire, there's smoke, and it's the smoke that
will really cause the problems. According to Mark Harwell, director of Cornell
University's Global Environment Program and one of the architects of the nuclear winter
theory, just 100 warheads exploding in major cities in the Northern Hemisphere could
generate enough smoke to create a "reverse greenhouse effect." The smoke will
travel to the stratosphere and cut off sunlight. The earth will grow cold, as much as 15
degrees Centigrade colder, and our major grain crops will die. In other words, we're more
likely to starve than burn. "Most people point to Hiroshima and Nagasaki as the
models for the aftermath of a nuclear war," says Harwell. "But the entire world
will be a lot more like Ethiopia and the Sudan."
Previously, the potential body count
of nuclear war was estimated to be "only" in the tens of millions in the United
States and a few hundred million globally. That would still leave four and a half billion
humans on the planet, but Harwell says the long-lasting effects could eventually kill
another 4 billion.
Nothing is
foolproof. We've had such accidents in the past, and a bigger accident is
totally possible. Hard for the ancients to predict, though.

Ice Age
Right now the buzz is about "global
warming", yet a mere thirty years ago we were worried about an impending Ice
Age. There is evidence that parts of our climate system work more like a
switch than a dial, and if a certain level of temperature is reached, it may
cause what is known as "abrupt climate change". See the movie "The Day

Stream. No more mild temperatures over Europe. Europe will gradually turn into
a big Icicle. You probably thought that the greenhouse effect meant everything would

moisture will be carried to the poles, where it will freeze, and the glaciers will come

abused power, and made life miserable for

attacked and killed potential threats to

Ivan the Terrible
created his own personal army called the Oprichnina to kill anyone suspected
of being an enemy. Joseph Stalin starved the
peasants within his borders with harsh political policies, and instilled
fear in his people with his secret police and political purges. Adolf
Hitler imposed Euthanasia policies killing the sick and elderly. He also
enslaved and slaughtered millions in concentration camps and started world
war II which resulted in 20 million dead. Mao Zedong the communist leader
of china almost destroyed the rich history and culture of his people with
his cultural revolution and created famine with his Great Leap Forward
policies that killed millions of peasants. Pol Pot Murdered 3 million of
his own people out of a population of 7 million after coming to power in
Cambodia in 1975, he targeted anyone with glasses,
because it was assumed they could read . These are a few example of a
common theme in history of egotistical genocidal maniacs coming to power.
They all few things in common; all had uncontrollable egos, delusions of
grandeur and a lack of compassion for those they killed or hurt.
This paradigm of
politics where the majority of people are
brainwashed to think that their leaders have their best interests in mind
is what we are faced with today. Agendas
that repress the citizens and enrich the elite are
given priority while the masses are fed meaningless issues to squabble over
to distract them from real issues of importance. The politicians that
should represent the people really represent the interests of the
international bankers and oligarchs. Most politicians today are agents of,
or are acting in the interests of a cabal of international bankers. Some
knowingly, some not. Some willingly, some not. The people with real
political power act behind the scenes, pulling the strings of their puppets
pawns. Although these shadowy figures are largely unseen, the effects of
their genocidal policies are felt worldwide. These are the cabals that work
to implement policies and start wars that result in the death and
suppression of the people of the world.
What they strive to
create is a New World Order, a global governmental system that controls the
world monetary system in a world with a more manageable population of 1-2
billion. They are working to crash the current economic system which will
result in mass starvation and depopulation. This will
of course, lead to their pre planned solution, a one-world
dictatorial government. Presided over by a concentrated group of unelected
psychopaths, hell bent on becoming all powerful.
This agenda is over two centuries in the making. Today, oligarchical
leaders, and shadowy cabals have hijacked the monetary policies of
individual nations to rack up huge deficits and create inflation for profit
and power. Once a nation comes under the control of this international loansharking cartel, it loses all sovereignty and control over it's own
affairs.
These
diabolical international corporations have control over the
mainstream media and education, and subvert the masses. They have created an
illusionary false reality and bombarded us with sensual delights to pacify
us into maintaining the status quo and ignoring the harshness of reality.
They create fake enemies for us to direct our frustrations at.
We are divided and pitted against each other
to keep us from joining forces to destroy our true oppressors.
They create fear in the people and to create
a military apparatus to confront those who refuse to be a part of their New
World Order. This is all disguised by a facade, we are spoon fed some
bullshit which masquerades as reality and gives us something to swallow. It
tastes bad, but we'd rather eat shit than take the red pill and endure the
inconvenience of adjusting to life outside the matrix.
A truly sovereign
nation is a nation that has control of its own monetary supply. In 1917 the
united states lost that control when the federal reserve act was passed,
making the federal reserve the united states central bank with the power to
print and issues currency. However the federal reserve was not a government
institution controlled by the people through its elected leaders, it was a
privately controlled corporation. Since then, the American dollar has been
devalued by 98% and counting. The Fed has been responsible for every boom
and bust since 1917 by controlling interest rates and creating large
artificial bubbles only to bust them and
reconsolidate the wealth at the expense of the lower/middle classes.
The families that own
the federal reserve are globalists and are the creators of the supranational
banks like the IMF and the World Bank. Since 1917, power has further been
concentrated in the hands of the few with practically all of the print,
radio, and television media being own by a handful of corporations. Debt
has exploded in to astronomical sums as each American is born into a debt of
$65,000 and the totality of the nations debt is
close to 65 trillion dollars. The story is similar no matter where you look.
Throughout the last
half century, the CIA working for its constituents: corporations and
international bankers, globalists, have overthrown
many governments around the world to install leaders subservient to the New
World Order, where they would take out huge loans never to be paid back and
let foreign corporations loot their resources thus impoverishing their
people. One such example was Nicaragua where the Sadinista government was a
democratically elected popular government overthrown by the Contras who were
supported financially and covertly by the CIA.
The new leader sold off the countries resources to corporations and took
out massive loans from the IMF, forever indebting the people. This was a
pattern that took place all throughout South America, Asia and Europe, where
the CIA would found opposition rebel groups to destabilize countries and
topple government. When the CIA couldn’t do it, American troops were sent
in; like in Vietnam and Iraq. As a result of this most of the world's
wealth is channeled to the top 1 percent while the majority of the people
are malnourished and living in poverty.
In Canada, the
globalists have hijacked the countries monetary policies by funding the
countries social system and needs with loans taken out by foreign
creditors. This is treasonous considering the fact that the Bank of Canada
can lend out money at 0 to 1% interest to the nation. Instead as of today
the nation is in debt 500 billion dollars with an annual interest payment of
40billion dollars a year. This money could be used to create abundance for
the people, but instead the wealthiest nation on earth (per capita) is in a
downward spiral of standard of living decreases, deficits, privatization,
and austerity. For the at one time; 'best country to live' Canada is going
down fast. Sadly, although Canada is better off than most, that only means
it has a great seat on a sinking Titanic.
Through
institutions such as the Trilateral Commission,
Council on Foreign Relations, Club of Rome, UN, and the Bildergerg Group,
the international elite can set it's agenda by grooming future presidents
and politician that will be subservient to their agendas. Usually if one
wants to have a future in politics one will have to network through these
groups if they want to be sponsored by the elite and promoted through the
media. Through these institutions they can shape policy and steer the
world into a direction of their choosing. Members of Bilderberg have
included royals such as Queen Beatrix and Prince Bernhard (a founder) of the
Netherlands, and Prince Charles. Presidents Bill Clinton and Gerald ford.
Secretaries of State, such as Henry Kissinger, Colin Powell and Condellizza
Rice. Other heads of state who’ve attended Bilderberg
have been Jean Chretain, and Tony Blair. Current
Federal reserve chairman Ben Bernanke has also attended. Council on Foreign
relations members have included many media figures such as Barbara Walters
and Diane Sawyers. News institutions have many CFR members. The list of
politicians, corporate heads, media moguls, and bankers that are associated
with these institutions is mind boggling.
The international
elite behind the founding of these institutions are imposing their will upon
the people of the world. The 'terrorist' attack of September 11, 2001 was a
false flag attack perpetrated by Al Quida who worked for
these groups and individuals to accelerate the creation of their New
World Order. After 9/11, the Patriot and Anti Terrorist (Canada) Acts were
passed to take away the civil liberties of the people and to erode the
constitution in the name of the 'War on Terror.' 9/11 also gave the pretext
to expand the Anglo American empire by occupying any nation that you could
slap the 'terrorist' label on, and proceeding with endless, costly struggles
with anyone who stood up in self defense.
We are now moving
into end game- human depopulation. By creating wars, and manipulation
interest rates, and destroying civil liberties, the international elite plan
to implement a New World Order with a vastly reduced population. The
environmental movement is being subverted to serve this agenda by promoting
policies that are detrimental to the potential for development
of struggling nations. The father of the World
Wildlife Fund was Julian Huxley who shared his father's view of eugenics;
that the way to save to planet and to bring peace on earth was to rid the
world of those with less superior genes. Eugenics today is still alive and
as relevant as ever. Many of the people in power today: The Rockefellers,
the Rothschild’s, the Bush’s, the house of Windsor, they all come from the
same Eugenics movement that Hitler was a part of. Nothing is as it seems.
With the currently
onrushing economic collapse that threatens the lives of billions of people
on the planet, now is time to wake up to the new reality and exercise our
will. We need to find strength enough to face the truth and enlighten
ourselves even if that requires a us to throw out everything we thought we
knew.

WHY WILL THIS HAPPEN?The big event will not be
the destruction of the Earth, although there may be some rough sledding ahead. The
cataclysm is a collective coming of age. Civilization will end in A.D. 2012,
according to the Mayan calendar stone, as interpreted by Jose Arguelles, New Age
eschatologist, art historian, and author of _The Mayan Factor_. The Mayan calendar,
describes a 5,200-year Great Cycle beginning in 3113 B.C. and ending in A.D.
2012. This cycle, in turn, is embedded in a longer, 26,000-year cycle, composed of five
Great Cycles, which also ends in 2012. (Meaningful-coincidence buffs may note that this
long cycle, which Arguelles equates with the life span of Homo Sapiens, corresponds to the
26,000 years of Plato's "Great Year" and of the astrological precession of the
zodiac.) "What we are experiencing," he concludes, "is the climax of our
particular species and evolutionary stage -- the very last twenty-six years of a cycle
some twenty-six thousand years in length!" In 2023, will begin a Solar Age, a
postindustrial Utopia. "Everyone will have psychic ability. We'll live harmoniously
in post technological New Age villages -- equipped with "solar temples," lush
gardens, pleasure domes, and "houses of energy and information" -- so
communicate the Daughters of Cerridwen and the returned Mayan masters. Uh Huh! Its more likely that we will be living
in huts and cultivating an acre of earth and hoping for a good harvest!
Carlos Barrios, Mayan elder and Ajq'ij (is a ceremonial
priest and spiritual guide) of the Eagle Clan. Carlos initiated an
investigation into the different Mayan calendars circulating. Carlos along
with his brother Gerardo studied with many teachers and interviewed nearly
600 traditional Mayan elders to widen their scope of knowledge.
Carlos found out quickly there were several
conflicting interpretations of Mayan hieroglyphs, petroglyphs, Sacred Books
of 'Chilam Balam' and various ancient text. Carlos found some strong words
for those who may have contributed to the confusion:
Carlos Barrios: "Anthropologists visit the temple sites and read the
inscriptions and make up stories about the Maya, but they do not read
the signs correctly. It's just their imagination. Other people write
about prophecy in the name of the Maya. They say that the world will end
in December 2012. The Mayan elders are angry with this. The world will
not end. It will be transformed."
"We are no longer in the World of the Fourth Sun, but we are not yet in
the World of the Fifth Sun. This is the time in-between, the time of
transition. As we pass through transition there is a colossal, global
convergence of environmental destruction, social chaos, war, and ongoing
Earth Changes."
He continues: "Humanity will continue, but in a different way. Material
structures will change. From this we will have the opportunity to be
more human. We are living in the most important era of the Mayan
calendars and prophecies. All the prophecies of the world, all the
traditions are converging now. There is no time for games. The spiritual
ideal of this era is action."
Carlos tells us: "The indigenous have the calendars and know how to
accurately interpret it -- not others. The Mayan Calendars comprehension
of time, seasons, and cycles has proven itself to be vast and
sophisticated. The Maya understand 17 different calendars such as the
Tzolk'in or Cholq'ij, some of them charting time accurately over a span
of more than ten million years.
"All was predicted by the mathematical cycles of
the Mayan calendars. -- It will change --everything will change. Mayan
Day-keepers view the Dec. 21, 2012 date as a rebirth, the start of the
World of the Fifth Sun. It will be the start of a new era resulting from
and signified by the solar meridian crossing the galactic equator and
the Earth aligning itself with the center of the galaxy."
At sunrise on December 21, 2012 for the first time in 26,000 years the
Sun rises to conjunct the intersection of the Milky Way and the plane of
the ecliptic. This cosmic cross is considered to be an embodiment of the
Sacred Tree, The Tree of Life, a tree remembered in all the world's
spiritual traditions.
Some observers say this alignment with the heart of the galaxy in 2012
will open a channel for cosmic energy to flow through the Earth,
cleansing it and all that dwells upon it, raising all to a higher level
of vibration. Carlos reminds us: "This process has already begun. Change
is accelerating now and it will continue to accelerate.
If the people of the Earth can get to this 2012 date in good shape
without having destroyed too much of the Earth, we will rise to a new,
higher level. But to get there we must transform enormously powerful
forces that seek to block the way."
The date specified in the calendar Winter Solstice in the year 2012 does
not mark the end of the world. Many outside people writing about the
Mayan calendar sensationalize this date, but they do not know. The ones
who know are the indigenous elders who are entrusted with keeping the
tradition.
Carlos tells us: "The economy now is a fiction. The first five-year
stretch of transition from August 1987 to August 1992 was the beginning
of the destruction of the material world. We have progressed ten years
deeper into the transition phase by now, and many of the so-called
sources of financial stability are in fact hollow. The banks are weak.
This is a delicate moment for them. They could crash globally, if we
don't pay attention. Now, people are paying attention."
The North and South Poles are both breaking up. The level of the water
in the oceans is going to rise. But at the same time land in the ocean,
especially near Cuba, is also going to rise. Carlos tells a story about
the most recent Mayan New Year ceremonies in Guatemala. He said that one
respected Mam elder, who lives all year in a solitary mountain cave,
journeyed to Chichicastenango to speak with the people at the ceremony.
The elder delivered a simple, direct message. He called for human beings
to come together in support of life and light.
"Right now each person and group is going his or her own way. The elder
of the mountains said there is hope if the people of the light can come
together and unite in some way. We live in a world of polarity -- day
and night, man and woman, positive and negative. Light and darkness need
each other. They are a balance."
"Just
now the dark side is very strong, and very clear about what they want.
They have their vision and their priorities clearly held, and also their
hierarchy. They are working in many ways so that we will be unable to
connect with the spiral Fifth World in 2012."
"On the light side everyone thinks they are the most important, that
their own understandings, or their group's understandings, are the key.
There's a diversity of cultures and opinions, so there is competition,
diffusion, and no single focus."
Carlos believes the dark side works to block unity through denial and
materialism. It also works to destroy those who are working with the
light to get the Earth to a higher level. They like the energy of the
old, declining Fourth World, the materialism. They do not want it to
change. They do not want unity. They want to stay at this level, and are
afraid of the next level.
The dark power of the declining Fourth World cannot be destroyed or
overpowered. It's too strong and clear for that, and that is the wrong
strategy. The dark can only be transformed when confronted with
simplicity and open-heartedness. This is what leads to unity, a key
concept for the World of the Fifth Sun.
Carlos said the emerging era of the Fifth Sun will call attention to a
much-overlooked element. Whereas the four traditional elements of Earth,
Air, Fire and Water have dominated various epochs in the past, there
will be a fifth element to reckon with in the time of the Fifth Sun ---
that element is 'ETHER'.
The dictionary defines Ether as a "hypothetical substance supposed to
occupy all space, postulated to account for the propagation of
electromagnetic radiation through space." Perhaps it could be defined as
the "space between space". I would suggest it could be manifest as the
alignment of charged particles from our solar system (Sun), and our
galaxy (Milky Way) surge. The Ether element represents spiritual energy.
"The element of the Fifth Sun is celestial. Within the context of Ether
there can be a joining of the polarities. No more darkness or light in
the people, but an uplifted unity. But right now the realm of darkness
is not interested in this. They are organized to block it. They seek to
unbalance the Earth and its environment so we will be unready for the
alignment in 2012."
"We need to work together for peace, and balance with the other side. We
need to take care of the Earth that feeds and shelters us. We need to
put our entire mind and heart into pursuing unity and unity now, to
confront the other side and preserve life."

are disturbed -- we can't play anymore. Our planet can be renewed or

important to be clear about who you are, and also about your relation to
the Earth. Develop yourself according to your own tradition and the call
of your heart. But remember to respect differences, and strive for
unity. Eat wisely --- a lot of food is corrupt in either subtle or gross
ways. Pay attention to what you are taking into your body. Learn to
preserve food, and to conserve energy. Learn some good breathing
techniques, so you have mastery of your breath. Be clear. Follow a
tradition with great roots. It is not important what tradition, your
heart will tell you, but it must have great roots."
"We live in a world of energy. An important task at this time is to
learn to sense or see the energy of everyone and everything -- people,
plants, animals. This becomes increasingly important as we draw close to
the World of the Fifth Sun, for it is associated with the element
'ether' -- the realm where energy lives and weaves. Go to the sacred
places of the Earth to pray for peace, and have respect for the Earth
which gives us our food, clothing, and shelter. We need to reactivate
the energy of these sacred places. That is our work."
"One simple but effective prayer technique is to light white or
baby-blue colored candles. Think of a moment in peace. Speak your
intention to the flame and send the light of it on to the leaders who
have the power to make war or peace."
Carlos reminds us this is a crucially important
moment for humanity and for Earth. Each person is important.
He said the elders have opened the doors so that other races can come to
the Mayan world to receive the tradition. "The Maya have long
appreciated and respected that there are other colors, other races, and
other spiritual systems. They know that the destiny of the Mayan world
is related to the destiny of the whole world."

On June 27, 1992,
Rhuddlwm Gawr left Kennesaw, Georgia about 12:15pm. He said he was going to take a drive
and be back in about an hour. He seemed troubled. Six hours later he returned but could
not remember where he had been.
In the past, Rhuddlwm’s mysterious
travels produced information important to our tradition. He sometimes drove into the
mountains when he wanted to think, because he said it brought him closer to The Old Ones;
and by meditating on them, it helped solve problems. During this trip, he drove north,
until something compelled him to proceed toward the Chattahoochee National Forest. It was
drizzling rain.
After an hour of rough mountain roads and climbing dangerously
steep grades, the same something told him to stop and look to the left. There through the
trees was a beautiful waterfall, which had been hidden as he approached the area. He
opened the door, got out and began walking along the stream leading to the waterfall. The
following is an excerpt of the trips events, revealed while Rhuddlwm was in deep, relaxed
trance.
Suddenly, Rhuddlwm was startled by a voice, which said in a
clear and firm tone, "Climb around the waterfall. When you reach a mountain meadow
above the falls, you will listen to the message which I bring you from the Old Ones."
He went up the path around the falls to the meadow, which was about a hundred and fifty
yards away. He stood under a large overhang of spruce branches because of the continuing
drizzle. A few minutes later, he saw that the grass and soil in the middle of the meadow
was starting to steam. There was a bluish-green color and a hissing sound. He looked
toward a shimmering mass of air hovering over the meadow. The spherical mass was about one
hundred feet in diameter and floated about two hundred feet straight above the meadow. It
never moved or wavered. If not for the rain, he would not have seen it. In spite of the
rain, the center of the meadow was dry.
Two hikers suddenly came into the meadow and stopped under a
shelter at the side of the trail. They saw him across the meadow and he exchanged comments
with them about the rain. He didn't want to look up. Silently, a shimmering mass of air
appeared behind the hikers, a man and a woman. It formed a human shape with a staff or
wand in "its" hand. The woman noticed the area in the middle of the meadow was
emitting a pulsing light. She stared and said, "Look at that!" Sensing
something, the man immediately turned around and saw the figure, and yelled,
"run." He grabbed the woman and tried to pull her. They ran about ten yards when
the figure leveled the "staff" at them. There was a buzzing/hissing sound and
they fell limp to the ground.
Rhuddlwm started to run to them, but suddenly found himself face
down on the ground also. For about thirty seconds he couldn't move. As feeling and control
came back to his legs, he got up slowly. The "figure" moved close to him.
He could make out that it was male with long brown hair to his shoulders, a soft beard
outlining his jaw, incredible brown shimmering eyes! He said he could not look away from
those eyes. He felt controlling energy which carried this message:
"Rhuddlwm Gawr. They are not
hurt; they will sleep for a time." "Who are you? He asked. "I am currently
here and not here. In days long past you would have called me Taliesin or Merlin. I am
limited in time, space and energy. Therefore listen well.
"You and many others of the Old Ways are spreading
the knowledge of the Craft of the Wise. Through your work, the Old Religion is again
becoming well known throughout the world. Because the ancient mysteries are being
revealed, you are witnessing the beginning of a new era of spiritual enlightenment.
"But, the principal force of light and the hidden
force of darkness are battling for the minds of humankind. The light represents love,
unity, peace, selflessness, and brotherhood. The dark represents greed, selfishness,
confusion, poverty and diseased thinking. As you face the next seven years, not only your
city of Atlanta but the entire globe will be involved in this battle for the future of
humankind. This battle will culminate in a tremendous upheaval of physical,
mental and spiritual energies within the Earth.
"You have felt the beginning of this disturbance in
your own Pagan community these past weeks. It will not be pleasant. This emotional
upheaval will be horrible. There is a good reason behind this action. You do not want
people associated with Y Tylwyth Teg unless they are truly supportive and travel the path
of light. After the coming conflict ends in September next year, you will know who your

place all around you. Slowly, even the less advanced souls are awakening to their own
birthright and to a higher and finer way of life. Those who are enlightened will soon
realize the great truth: humans are directly responsible for everything that is happening
now and will happen in the future. Cosmic law is always the same. No one escapes justice;
sooner or later Justice always wins.
"The Guardians are intensifying their work by
directing the relocation of specific people without interfering in the general will and
destiny of humankind. In all cases, the ultimate acceptance or rejection is an individual
soul decision. There are exceptions, of course. It is sometimes amusing and even
entertaining to watch humankind's struggles. We share the passionate love that some of you
have for each other, but we can only assist in accordance with divine law. Soon many will
awaken and surrender their illusions.
"The increasing pressure building within the Earth
from the rapidly accelerating imbalance is being released through cracks in the moving
geologic plates on the surface. Between the years 1997 and 2023 you will see acceleration
of this activity resonating around the planet. Stress changes will be recorded from some
area of the world daily. Remember, changing pressures in one area of the Earth's surface
will have direct relationship to other areas of the world through corresponding plate and
fault lines, electromagnetic grid patterns, and etheric energy. Every form of energy, from
human thought to physical changes, resonates throughout the universe, and indeed, creates
your reality.
"I came to you in the past and gave you prophecies
which I will repeat and add to at this time. This is reality. This will occur. Be ready!
"The weather patterns will be severe in the years
of 1998-2012 with drought and flooding growing more severe. The theory of global Warming
will be validated. This will be very hard on food production and cause shortages in most
areas with resulting high prices. Winter wheat will not do well and spring crops will be
planted late. Geologic activity will produce hot summers in many areas, being difficult on
crop production. Keep several months supply of staple items to assure variety, supply and
price. Food prices will jump astronomically in many areas. People will rebel and fear will
increase. People will be forced to alternatives, growing sprouts, gardening, and making
more items from scratch rather than packaged or frozen foods. Many adjustments will be
economically necessary.
"During Spring of 2009 you will begin to see the
far-reaching effects of these changes. Most nuclear plants are not safe from terrorists or
potential leaks, and some will eventually bring lethal consequences on their surroundings.
Some will not be closed in sufficient time to prevent damage to communities. Major
earthquakes will cause fissures in the containment vessels with immediate disastrous
consequences. Give special attention to these plants.
"Signs will become stronger as the years progress.
Those people whose lives are fear-based will intensify their animalistic behavior. Others
will increase their compassion through selfless service, either consciously or
unconsciously recognizing that a greater world is coming. Increase your knowledge of
self-sufficiency on all levels.
"Although these prophecies may seem to portend vast
earth changes over the next twenty-five years, remember that between one event and another
may be a period of months. This will give you breathing room and allow people to migrate
from one area to another and prepare for the worst. Between one and three hundred million
humans will die between 2012 and 2023, due to the Earth changes. More than 700 million
will die between 2023 and 2025. You must prepare a safe place. The wind, at times, will
blow at speeds above 300 miles per hour. You must be able to live underground for at least
two to three months. It may also be dark for periods of six to nine months.
"Rhuddlwm, in 2003 we will again visit Dynion Mwyn
for the fourth and last time. We will give the final prophecies and spiritual aide to you
and others. We have been with humanity since the beginning. We will return for the end of
the beginning. Look to the story of Taliesin. The year of the beginning was 1975. Prepare
for the end of civilization as you know it."
Rhuddlwm said as the figure grew faint and disappeared, the
hikers awakened and stood up, groggy and shaking their heads." He walked to them and
asked if they were all right. He said they immediately looked around, alarmed as if they
were expecting to see a monster leap at them. They seemed confused that everything was
normal. As they walked down the path away from the meadow, they asked him about what had
happened. He was vague and said that he, too, had been overcome. He suggested that
"it" was some kind of gas. It was obvious they didn't believe him.
We believe the "Old Ones" have visited
our world many times in the past giving human beings knowledge to survive and become more
spiritual. Periodically, a cataclysm or devastation in the form of earthquakes, disease,
epidemics, or pestilence occurs because Earth needs to balance herself. After each
destruction, more ancient knowledge is lost. We believe the time is again coming when the
"Old Ones" will return and bring the knowledge back to us....Taliesin Einion Vawr
With this return, as our legends say, certain humans will be
able to relearn the sacred mysteries. Our legends tell us that seekers who have prepared
themselves by studying the old knowledge will be allowed contact and shelter from the
coming cataclysm. These seekers will become teachers; teachers who have true knowledge.
Our tradition teaches that we are
spiritually descended from the first true teachers, Hu Gadarn...the Triad. We believe that
the souls who were involved with the Sacred Triad in the past are again reincarnating on
this Earth to prepare the children of the Gods. We believe that thousands of years ago,
there were mystical meetings between the "Old Ones" and humankind. These
meetings were recorded in the form of legends passed down, in time, from High Priestess to
Initiate. This ancient religion was preserved in Wales and other countries without
interruption until the 1200's. The Triad has returned to Earth many times in the past,
primarily to see how the "children-of-the-gods" are progressing. We expect them
to visit soon. And yes we expect the usual nay
Sayers and deniers to make fun

The following prophecies were given to us over the past
several years. Remember, these prophecies are like the weatherman, sometimes he's wrong
and sometimes he's right. Some prophecies have been incredibly accurate. Some prophecies
have been off by ten years. Use these prophecies only as a general guide. Here they
are:
Since 1975 there have been increasing devastating
occurrences around the world from earthquakes, volcanic activity, and climate. But the
greatest period of future seismic, astronomical and weather occurrences will come in
1999-2023. The weather will slowly become unstable as storms, flooding, tornadoes, and
hurricanes leave parts of the U.S. in ruin. This period will also see drought and high
temperatures in some parts of the U.S., while torrential rains and flooding inundate other
parts.
A series of destructive earthquakes will strike
California, Oregon, Washington and Alaska. Significant volcanic activity will occur
through out the Northwestern United States, Alaska, the Philippines, South and Central
America, Japan and Hawaii.
A series of great quakes will begin before or around
January of the year 2012 but the period June 2012 to December 2023 will see the most
devastating earthquakes occur. Between 2013 and 2023 a celestial object may cause great
destruction. There will then be great changes in the geological formation of the Arctic
and Antarctic. The earth's axis will increase its wobble and cause the climate to change
drastically. Tidal waves, 100+ mile-an-hour winds, giant storms. This is a most dangerous
time for our race. The Earth's Magnetic Field will begin its shift from North to
South and South to North.
At the national Gathering of the Tribes at Unicoi
Conference Center in Georgia in September 1981, the late Sun Bear from Spokane,
Washington, spoke on the Indian predictions.
"When a young girl speaks (Mt. St. Helens), and
grandfather answers (Mt. Rainier), the whole Sierra range will become active. If Mt.
Rainier blows west, all population will be devastated to the sea. There will be warnings,
rumblings, and lava will moving up. Before Rainier there will be activity in Mt. Lassen,
and all mountains from Yosemite to Canada and Alaska will become active."
"In 1997 a weather crises of Global proportions
will be discovered, having to do with Global Warming. The world will begin to undergo a
major climactic change. This started with the eruption of Pinatubo in the Philippines in
1992 & 1993."
NationalPolitics: From July 1992 to June 1997, the
U.S. political environment will at first become more democratic and liberal. In 1992, a
President will come from the people to lead them. They will berate and malign him because
he is so much like them. The mid-term elections of 1994 will bring a conservative bent to
the Congress. Between 1997 and 2004, there will be tremendous scandals involving
government officials and corporate executives. Criminal activity involving political
contributions, power companies, and private pension funds will be the source of some of
them. The consequences to American society will be far greater than the S&L fiasco.
During the presidential campaign of 1996, the Christian
right will attempt to take over the Republican Party by political and non-political means,
under the leadership of certain right wing fundamentalists. In 1998, the Christian Right
will lose some power and begin to decline. Right wing fanatics will try to control local
politics. The Republican party will splinter. In 1999, the Democratic Party will begin to
reorganize. In 2001, after a new president is elected, much corruption will be found in
both political parties. A Democratic leader will be elected president but a Republican
will become president. A great destruction will occur on the east coast in 2001, and our
cities will be attacked. A state of emergency will be declared and the National Guard,
Army and U.S. Marine Corps will be used to protect property and lives. The economy will
again slide downward even more after the president attacks an Arab country. There is
danger of an escalation when he attempts to continue his aggression from one country to
another.
In 2006 there will again be a shift
toward the center which will continue until a Man will come from the people to lead them.
He will be maligned and cursed because he will be
a man of color - a black man. he will also be seen as one of the Great
American Presidents by History. He will be reelected in November 2012
just in time to help get us through December 21, 2012.
Because the Republican Party was taken over by Far
Right Extremists and Corporationists, there will be a huge voter backlash
when it is revealed that Multi National Corporations and Far Right Religio-Political
parties have caused the terrible economic problems of 2002 thru 2013.
The US will become more liberal and companies will either move out of the US
or move back to the US because the tax structure will be unfavorable for the
1% of the population to control corporations. Taxes on the Rich will
rise to almost 40% and the deficit will be reduced dramatically. The
economy will improve dramatically until the first major global event.
InternationalPolitics: Boris Yeltsin will begin to lose power before the end of
1999, resign in 2000 and be dead within five years. In 2011, there will be a nuclear
disaster in Russia that will be even greater than the last. Between 2000 and 2011,
Christian and Muslim fundamentalists will commit several acts of terrorism in the U.S. In
2011, civil war will begin to break out in South America and the Middle East, drawing in
the U.S. There will be a political upheaval in China, setting off danger signals for the
rest of the world. By 2009 to 2012, a terrorist group will threaten a nuclear explosion in
one of our large cities.
By January 2002, there will be a very great danger from
the Republican president trying to acquire too much power and there will eventually be a
backlash from the American public. This will signal the beginning of the most disastrous
economic and environmental state this country has ever seen. There will be a scandal
involving Republicans and several energy companies who will be involved in destroying
environmental regulations. There will be a scandal involving many large companies whose
officers steal money from the companies and then declare the companies bankrupt. High tech
businesses will fold because of graft and corruption causing great loss of jobs and
revenue for many parts of the country, triggering the beginning of a deep recession.
The period from September 2002 to October 2017 will mark the
beginning of severe economic pressures on the United States from overseas sources.
England, Germany, France and Japan will again experience a deep depression. The AIDS
epidemic will be much worse than anyone had imagined. The AIDS vaccines will be largely
ineffective. Sexual training will be established for all humans. ALL will be tested until
testing is no longer available. New diseases will follow, and we will experience
resurgence of old diseases that have become immune to modern medicine.
Between September 2001 and May 2002 the U.S. will attack a
mid eastern country, which is keeping its citizens in bondage. Between May 2012 and March
2017 there may be a limited major war of 30 to 45 days. Unless efforts are made for
peace, areas, which may be wiped out, are Baghdad, Tehran, Seoul, Paris, Moscow, Peking,
London, New York, and Washington, D.C. Limited war may erupt between Arabs and Europeans.
The U.S. will become involved and will set the stage for war between China and the U.S.
These wars may break the breadbasket of the U.S. and food shortages will occur. In June
2017, peace will finally reign.
ECONOMY:
The economy of the U.S. will temporarily recover from the recession caused by the War in
the Gulf against Iraq, and the policies of Reagan and Bush. When the first major flooding
occurs in the Midwestern and Southeastern U.S., the economy will seem to expand. Inflation
will increase slightly during 1995-1999, causing interest rates to stay flat. But by 2000
the economy will begin to come in for a soft landing. Interest rates will increase
slightly until the economy stabilizes temporarily after the elections in 2000. The New
York Stock exchange Dow Jones Industrial average will rise to almost 14000 in 1999 before
falling below 8000 in 2008. It will only recover after several scandals involving large
companies and stock. The Republican President will attack a second mid eastern country in
late 2002 or early 2003, causing the economy to begin to nosedive in 2008 and almost
self-destruct in 2009.
Between 1992 and 2009, Mexico will suffer a devaluation of
their currency. Massive foreign aid will be needed to prop it up, but it will eventually
go through an economic depression before rebounding. Japan will undergo several bank
failures causing massive losses of investments. The Japanese will begin dumping U.S. real
estate.
The economy will begin to
rebound by 2010.
A Major Oil Spill will occur in the Gulf of Mexico
and cause an even larger economic nosedive. This will last until after
the mid term elections in 2010.
EARTH CHANGES: After 2002 the United States, Japan, China, Pakistan, Iran, Turkey, and
South America will experience an increase in earthquake activity. After 2005, the Middle
East, China, Syria, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Jordan as well as Southern Europe including Italy,
Turkey and Greece, will be severely damaged by earthquakes. There will be subsidence of
land adjacent to the Dardanelles Straits. After 2012, certain coasts of Ireland, Wales and
France will be inundated. The size of Black Sea will increase. The eastern portion of
Africa will experience great earthquakes associated with the Rift Valley. Land will begin
to rise in the Atlantic Ocean between Iceland and Ireland. Mexico, South America, Middle
East, Europe, Asia (particularly Japan and China), and the South Pacific (New Zealand and
Australia) will also be affected.
Between 2012 and 2023, large earthquakes will strike California,
Alaska, Oregon, Washington State, Utah, Nevada, Maine, New York, Missouri, South Carolina
and Tennessee causing great damage. After 2005, massive hurricanes, tornadoes and
torrential rain will occur. Rivers will overflow their banks and there will be much
destruction by wind and water. The Missouri, Mississippi, and Ohio rivers will overflow
their banks causing much damage and property loss. In late 2013, the Gulf of California
will begin flowing into the Imperial Valley. Volcanic activity will increase and eruptions
may occur in California near Mt. Shasta; Lassen Peak, the Excelsior Mountains, Lake
Crowley, Mt. Humphries, and Olancha; Oregon near Mt. Hood, the Three Sisters mountains,
Mt. Scott; Washington near Mt. Rainier and Mt. St. Helens.
Between October 2009 and February 2017, the
Mediterranean Sea will begin to toss and turn like an agitated sleeper as the Straits of
Gibraltar will become impassable. The earth's axis will progressively tip. Several
celestial events will portend the coming disaster. Indonesia will be severely damaged by
earthquakes and volcanoes. Earthquakes and tidal waves will ravage first India then Japan.
Italy, France and Scandinavia will suffer major earthquakes, resulting in volcanoes
erupting throughout the Mediterranean area. Parts of India will be inundated, as China's
surface begins changing. Britain and northern Europe will experience earthquakes as land
rises in the North Sea and other land subsides on the western coast. Russia will
experience great shifting and moving of land as the Northern seas begin covering the land.
From February 2013 to April 2019, portions of
Japan, California, and Georgia, South Carolina and North Florida will begin slowly sinking into
the ocean. San Francisco Bay will extend south and eventually become an inland sea as
earthquakes destroy the surrounding cities. Seattle, Washington will experience a large
earthquake. Los Angeles and San Diego will be severely damaged by earthquakes. Great
earthquakes and floods near St. Louis, Missouri will destroy much property.
Palm Springs, Coastal
California will eventually be under water.
A new body of land will begin to appear off the current coast of California, eventually
extending 100+ miles long and 20+ miles wide.
Storms and dust from the erupting volcanoes will hide
the sun for days on end. A major earthquake will destroy Hoover Dam, causing Lake Mead to
empty into the Colorado River via a 400-foot wall of water. This will destroy the Davis
Dam, Imperial Dam, and Laguna Dam, releasing enough water to inundate Southern Arizona.
The weather patterns will turn more destructive and many lives will be lost.
Between 2010 and 2015, Mammoth Lakes, California will be
struck by a massive earthquake, accompanied shortly thereafter by tremendous volcanic
eruption. The Great Lakes will begin to empty into the Mississippi River. Martinique will
be totally destroyed by a cataclysmic eruption of Mt. Pele. Tremendous earthquakes will
rock the entire United States and Western Europe. New York and Los Angeles will be
virtually destroyed. There will be a year without a summer.
By June 2017 part of Oregon and Washington State will be
inundated from many earthquakes occurring on the Ring of Fire. New York will again
experience a large earthquake. South America will be shaken severely as areas of land
subside into the ocean. A hurricane-like storm will cut across the southern states
destroying much that had been rebuilt. Easter Island will rise and become part of a new
continent showing evidence of an ancient civilization. Tremendous earth movement will
begin in the remainder of California causing a gulf to form where parts of Arizona,
California, Utah, and Oregon once existed. The Great Lakes will increase in size as the
land subsides.
From July 2017 to March 2019, will see a quiet period
with new emphasis on peace after limited war and an era of earthquakes. On June 3, 2017 it
is prophesied that certain spiritual visitors will appear in several locations around the
Earth. In March of 2018-22, after a celestial body impacts the earth, there will be
primitive and terrible conditions. After 2023, the inner sea will cover much of Oregon,
Utah, Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, Kansas and California. Many western states will be
under water. By October 2027 a new world will have been born.
Can the above prophecies and their consequences be
changed? YES! There are definitely places of safety as spoken of in the prophecies. Beings
from other worlds could eventually help. There are things our government can do to save us
from some destruction, but the above events can only be changed in their entirety if
humanity forgets its hate, works together, loves all beings, and sends loving energy into
the earth at least once a day. Good Luck!
SCARY ECONOMIC PREDICTIONS FROM
THE OLD ONES, ABOUT THE US
FINANCIAL SYSTEM
FIRST PREDICTION: We are in the
middle of a very severe recession that's going to continue through all of 2009
and 2012 - the worst
U.S. recession in the past 50 years. It's the bursting of a huge leveraged-up credit
bubble. There's no going back, and there is no bottom to it. It was excessive in
everything from subprime to prime, from credit cards to student loans, from corporate
bonds to municipal bonds. You name it. And it's all reversing right now in a very, very
massive way. At this point it's not just a U.S. recession. All of the advanced economies
are at the beginning of a hard landing. And emerging markets, beginning with China, are in
a severe slowdown. So we're having a global recession and it's becoming worse.
Things are going to be awful for everyday people. U.S. GDP growth is going to be negative
through the end of 2009. And the recovery in 2011 and 2012, is going to
be so weak - with a growth rate of 1% to 1.5% - that it's going to feel like a recession.
The unemployment rate will peak at around
11% by 2011 and fall to 9 tp 10% by the end of 2012. The value of homes has already
fallen 25%. Home prices are going to fall by another 15% before bottoming out in 2012.
Until the middle of 2012, stay away from risky assets, stay away from the stock market, stay
away from commodities, stay away from credit, both high-yield and high-grade. Stay in cash
or cash like instruments such as short-term or longer-term government bonds. It's better to
stay in things with low returns rather than to lose 50% of your wealth. You should
preserve capital. It'll be hard and challenging enough.
SECOND PREDICTION: While 2008 will
probably be best known as the year that global stock markets had their values cut in half,
it was really much, much more. It was a year in which every major asset class - stocks,
real estate, commodities, even high-yield bonds - suffered significant double-digit
percentage losses, resulting in the destruction of over $30 trillion of paper wealth. To
blame this on subprime mortgages alone would be to dismiss an era of leveraging that
encompassed derivative structures of all types, embodying a belief that economic growth
was always and everywhere a certainty and that asset prices never go down.
We as an investor nation have been forced to face a new reality. Wall
Street and Main Street are fearful that a recession may be replaced by a near depression.
The outcome essentially depends on the ability of the Obama administration to rejuvenate
capitalism's "animal spirits" by substituting the benevolent fist of government
for the now invisible hand of Adam Smith. Federal spending and guarantees in the trillions
of dollars will be required to fill the gap created by the deleveraging of private balance
sheets. In turn, lenders and investors alike must begin to assume risk as opposed to
stuffing money in modern-day investment mattresses. The process will take time. Twelve
months of the Obama Nation will not be sufficient to heal the damage of a half-century's
excessive leverage. The downsizing of private risk positions - replaced by government
credit - will also result in reduced profit margins and a slower rate of earnings growth
after the bottom is reached.
Investors need to recognize these titanic shifts in market and public policies and be
content with single-digit returns in future years. Perhaps the most lucrative pockets of
value are in high-quality corporate bonds and preferred stocks of banks and financial
institutions that have partnered with the government in programs such as the Troubled
Assets Relief Program (TARP). While their profitability may be restricted, their ability
to pay interest and preferred dividends should be unhampered. Above all, stick to
high-quality companies and asset classes. The road to recovery will be treacherous.
THIRD PREDICTION: We don't currently
have anywhere near the level of unemployment that we had in the 1930s, but otherwise there
are many similarities between today's environment and the Great Depression, with things
happening today that we haven't seen since then. First of all, there's the magnitude of
the stock market's move up and down. The real (inflation-corrected) value of the S&P
500 nearly tripled from 1995 to 2000, and by November 2008 was down nearly 60% from its
2000 peak. The only other comparable event was the one in the 1920s where real stock
prices more than tripled from 1924 to 1929 and then fell 80% from 1929 to 1932. Second,
we've had the biggest housing bust since the Depression. Third, we've seen 0% interest
rates. We've actually seen briefly negative short-term interest rates. That hasn't
happened since 1941. There was a period from 1938 to 1941 when we were bouncing around at
zero and sometimes negative, but that hasn't happened since.
And the list goes on: Our numbers don't go back as far as the Depression, but consumer
confidence is plausibly at the lowest level since then. Volatility of the stock market in
terms of percentage changes day-to-day is the highest since the Depression. In October
2008 we saw the biggest drop in consumer prices in one month since April 1938. Another
thing is that it's a worldwide event, as it was in the Depression.
We'll do better this time, but we're
still vulnerable. One
of the lessons from the Depression is that things can smolder for a long time. What I'm
worried about right now is that our confidence has been hurt, and that's difficult to
restore. No matter what we do, we're trying to deal with a psychological phenomenon. So
the Fed can cut interest rates and purchase asset-backed securities, but that only works
in really restoring full prosperity if people believe that we're back again. That's a
little hard to manage.
FOURTH PREDICTION: My 87-year-old
mother is a native Kansan who grew up in the throes of the Great Depression and the Dust
Bowl. She is a classic "buy and hold" investor who would make Warren Buffett
proud. Her investment returns always exceeded those of my father, to his eternal
consternation. He actively traded his stocks and produced decent returns, but nothing like
those my mother achieved by simply buying stocks of companies she understood and liked,
and then holding onto them.
So we have become a strong advocate of the "basics" when it comes to investing:
Do your homework, invest in securities you understand, and then hold on. As a government
policymaker, I advocate informed investment decisions - not only to protect investors from
losses but also because the efficient functioning of our capital markets relies on
investors' doing their homework.
The private-label mortgage-backed securitization markets are a prime example. Trillions of
dollars of investor money funded millions of mortgages that borrowers had little chance of
repaying. Investors relied heavily on ratings agencies, which in turn relied too heavily
on mathematical models instead of analyzing the underlying loans. To be sure, borrowers,
brokers, lenders, securitizers, as well as state and federal regulators, all bear
responsibility for the widespread deterioration in lending standards. But the problem was
compounded by the fact that those ultimately holding the risk - the investors - did not
look behind their investments at the quality of the mortgages themselves. If they had,
they would have seen high loan-to-value ratios, little income documentation, burdensome
fees, and steep payment resets. They would have seen mortgages unaffordable from the
beginning, originated based on the assumption that home prices would continue to rise and
borrowers would refinance. Of course, we now know that as home prices began to depreciate,
borrowers were unable to refinance, leading to massive foreclosures and further price
declines. This self-reinforcing downward spiral is at the core of the economic problems we
face today.
We will dig out of this. And when we do, there will be
more of a back-to-basics society - where banks
and other lending institutions promote real growth and long-term value for the economy,
and where American families have rediscovered the peace of mind of financial security
achieved through saving and investing wisely. We need to return to the culture of thrift
that my mother and her generation learned the hard way through years of hardship and
deprivation. Those are lessons learned that the current crisis is teaching us again.
In terms of the stock market, the price/earnings ratio is no
longer high. I use a P/E ratio in which the price is divided by ten-year average earnings.
It's a really conservative way of looking at it. That P/E ratio got up to 44 in the year
2000, which was a record high. Recently it was down to less than 13, which is below the
average of around 15. But after the stock market crash of 1929, the price/earnings ratio
got down to about six, which is less than half of where it is now. So that's the worry.
Some people who are so inclined might go more into the market here because there's a real
chance it will go up a lot. But that's very risky. It could easily fall by half again.
FIFTH PREDICTION: We are in a
period of forced liquidation, which has happened only eight or nine times in the past 150
years. The fact that it's historic doesn't make it any more fun, of course. But it is a
pretty interesting time when there is forced selling of everything with no regard for
facts or fundamentals at all. Historically, the way you make money in times like these is
that you find things where the fundamentals are unimpaired. The fundamentals of GM are
impaired. The fundamentals of Citigroup are impaired.
Virtually the only asset class I know where the fundamentals are not impaired - in fact,
where they are actually improving - is commodities. Farmers cannot get a loan to buy
fertilizer right now. Nobody's going to get a loan to open a zinc or a lead mine.
Meanwhile, every day the supply of commodities shrinks more and more. Nobody can invest in
productive capacity, even if he wants to. You're going to see gigantic shortages
developing over the next few years. The inventories of food worldwide are already at the
lowest levels they've been in 50 years. This may turn into the Great Depression II. But if
and when we come out of this, commodities are going to lead the way, just as they did in
the 1970s when everything was a disaster and commodities went through the roof.
What I've been buying recently is agricultural commodities. I've also been buying more
Chinese stocks. And I'm buying stocks in Taiwan for the first time in my life. It looks as
if there's finally going to be peace in Taiwan after 60 years, and Taiwanese companies are
going to benefit from the long-term growth of China.
I have covered most of my short positions in U.S. stocks, and I'm now selling long-term
U.S. government bonds short. That's the last bubble I can find in the U.S. I cannot
imagine why anybody would give money to the U.S. government for 30 years for less than a
4% yield. I certainly wouldn't. There are going to be gigantic amounts of bonds coming to
the market, and inflation will be coming back.
In my view, U.S. stocks are still not attractive. Historically, you buy stocks when
they're yielding 6% and selling at eight times earnings. You sell them when they're at 22
times earnings and yielding 2%. Right now U.S. stocks are down a lot, but they're still
very expensive by that historical valuation method. The U.S. market is yielding 3% today.
For stocks to go to a 6% yield without big dividend increases, the Dow will need to go
below 4000. I'm not saying it will fall that far, but it could very well happen. And if it
gets that low and I'm still solvent, I hope I'm smart enough to buy a lot. The key in
times like these is to stay solvent so you can load up when opportunity comes.
SIXTH PREDICTION: I presume
that although we are in a severe recession it will not decompose into a full-scale
depression, because that is what everyone is afraid of and desperate to avoid. Wall Street
likes to say that the market has anticipated five of the last three recessions - the point
being that a market crash frightens the authorities into taking necessary action.
Keynes observed that pragmatic businessmen often could not imagine that they were the
slaves of defunct economists, but ironically, never is this more true than today of Keynes
himself. So we run a huge deficit to postpone the worst. That means inflation, so bonds
are unsatisfactory.
Investment opportunity is the difference between the reality and the perception. And since
many equities are priced as though a depression might be on the way, many of them are
attractively priced.
One approach I am comfortable with is owning shares in wonderful businesses that do well
in all circumstances - Johnson & Johnson and the like. They rarely fly out of the
park, but provide long, steady gains that will get you where you want to go. They often
have huge cash hoards, e.g., Cisco, Apple, Microsoft, and Berkshire Hathaway, whose war
chests exceed $20 billion. Or Hewlett-Packard, Google, Intel, or IBM, all in the $10
billion league. Such companies can take advantage of a weak market just as private
investors would, with the difference that they know very well how much to pay for what
fits their product line.
In the present environment I favor companies that can prosper in the lean years ahead. So,
not Saks, but Wal-Mart; not Neiman Marcus, but Dollar General. Or specialists, such as
Fastenal, Monsanto, or Schlumberger.
And when should you buy? In or near what I call the Time of Deepest Gloom, if you can spot
it.
SEVENTH PREDICTION: What the federal government has done so far- with TARP, bailing out
Citigroup, etc. - has stemmed the bleeding, but what it hasn't done is fundamentally alter
the landscape. Yes, there's been a tremendous amount of capital thrown into the system,
but my concern is that it's just going to plug the holes. It's not going to create new
liquidity, which is what the system so desperately needs.
When the government announces these plans, investors get excited and hopeful. But details
have been slim, and while I appreciate the government saying, "We've been wrong here.
Let's try something different," the strategy changes have not solved anything. So far
we've had TARP 1.0, TARP 2.0, and TARP 3.0, and I'm certain there will be a 4.0, a 5.0,
and a 6.0. There has to be, because the companies cannot raise the capital they need,
which means that the default provider of capital has to be the federal government.
What happens after 2009? Frankly, it's hard for me to predict what's going to happen next
week, never mind next year. What I will say is that I expect all these banks to be back in
the market looking for more capital. We'll also have a wholesale restructuring of our
banking system, probably toward the end of 2010. There will be banks getting smaller,
banks going away, and banks consolidating. At the same time, though, I think you'll see
more new banks created. We've already seen more applications. And it's a great idea: You
start with a clean balance sheet and make loans today with today's information. Plus,
right now you've got a yield curve that's good for lending.
I think the overall economy will be worse than people expect. The biggest issue will be
consumer spending. If 2008 was characterized by the market impacting the economy, then
2010+ will be about the economy impacting the market. It's already started.
THE EIGHTH PREDICTION: We are
clearly in a serious recession, and more aggressive action is needed to turn things
around. The federal government initially underestimated the scale of the mortgage and
housing crises and later panicked into an ever-changing series of ad hoc measures that at
best dealt with some of the effects of the original crises. But homeowners have now lost
$5 trillion, and 12 million families have mortgages in excess of the value of their homes.
Therefore the economy will not stabilize until mortgages are adjusted down to the value of
homes, with affordable payment schedules, and until new mortgages become available across
the home-price spectrum. Till then, the poverty effect of falling house prices and
unemployment moving up toward 7% will hold consumer spending back from its former 70%
contribution to our economy.
I'm optimistic about the choices that President-elect Obama has made for his economic
team, and I've got some suggestions for what they should do. Hopefully the new Treasury
Secretary, Tim Geithner, will incentivize lenders to restructure mortgages by guaranteeing
half of the reduced principal amount and sharing among the government, homeowners, and
lenders any subsequent appreciation. Lenders would gain liquidity by selling the
Treasury-guaranteed portion of the loan, and government would receive annual insurance
premiums to further protect it against loss. That would cost taxpayers nothing now and
probably little or nothing in the future.
Addressing unemployment is paramount. Detroit needs government support in order to
implement independently verified concessions from all stakeholders - not just labor -
which are sufficiently large to permit profitable operations even if auto sales remain as
low as 11 million cars per year. A pre-negotiated bankruptcy may be necessary in order to
implement the restructuring, but both the industry and the economy are too fragile to
withstand the domino effect that a free-fall bankruptcy would have on a car company, its
dealers, and its suppliers.
In addition, to avoid reversal of the 242,000 jobs created by state and local governments
in the past 12 months, Washington should provide or guarantee funding for sorely needed
infrastructure projects that would create immediate construction jobs and meaningful
amounts of permanent jobs.
If President Obama promptly and decisively resolves these problems, and restores public
confidence, he can end the recession by early 2010. If not, the economy will languish for
a long time. Given the economic uncertainty, investors who are too worried to buy equities
might consider tax-exempt bonds with yields around 6%, equivalent to almost 10% before
federal, state, and local taxes. Investors who want to hedge the risk that federal
deficits might lead to longer-term inflation and drive up interest rates, causing these
bonds to decline, might buy some TIPS, or Treasury inflation-protected securities, as
well. TIPS are U.S. Treasury bonds whose principal amount varies with consumer price
indexes to provide holders with a rate of return in constant dollars. TIPS prices
currently imply near-term deflation, and that means that they would appreciate in value if
inflation comes back.
NINTH PREDICTION
Now we come to the Biggie.
The Republicans hold the Economy Hostage over the Debt Limit! What are the Republicans doing
to help us survive and pull out of this horrendus situation? Propose that
we cut Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid, and give more money in the form of tax
cuts to the Rich and Famous! This would cause the economy to Go Belly
Up, and the congress will become more Democratic and Progressive, But there
will not be much anyone can do for several years of Hell.
n 1973, responding to a
spiritual call of the God/dess,
and the 2012 prophecies, The Celtic Church of
Dynion Mwyn in America was
directed to the North Georgia mountains to locate a site for a spiritual and holistic
survival community; a community which would have as it's basis, an earth religion philosophy
and it goal: The Survival of Human Civilization After 2012. Camelot-of-the-Woods
is structured as a living, open minded survival community of which our religion is just one facet.
This unique and exciting community will continue to take form in the fertile foothills of
the Blue Ridge Mountains of Northern Georgia. It is a community of the Old Religion for
the New Age, where not only personal and group survival is stressed, but spiritual
understanding, sharing, patience and love will be taught as a way of life. Several other
"Living" communities are also being established in North Georgia and in other

communities are hidden because of the danger from those who continually try to destroy our
religion. We do not foresee this secrecy to be repealed in the near future.
Sometime after 2012, Camelot-of-the-Wood be visible. But,

foundation period, which we believe will take another two years, the active members of
Camelot will be establishing a core program of Spiritual, Holistic and
private study in earth philosophy, with a natural approach to work and relationships. Four
styles of participation have emerged: a Full-Time Training Program through The Grove of
the Welsh Dragon; a Residential Program for
those initiates who live at Camelot, work there and elsewhere, and need a flexible
schedule; a Correspondence Program for seekers who live at a distance; and the Gathering

Relationships, communications, and challenges of all sorts are tools to use in becoming
whole; emotions are not something that happens to you but something you choose to do.Communities are
as old as humanity. Many millennia ago, the earliest alliances were born of
necessity: the survivors of the Atlantian Cataclysm barely eked out enough food, shelter
and defense to keep humankind alive. But more than that, they became the crucible
within which we evolved.Out of those
first primordial unions emerged our industrialized megasociety. Its price has been
steep. In its impersonal vastness, the individual has been sacrificed.
Pollster Louis Harris characterized the American Public as outraged and despairing ....and
that is the good news! The bad news, he added, is that Americans have nearly
exhausted their options to deal with the frustration and are beginning to realize it.There is a
natural philosophy which is shared by Camelot members. This new vision values an
open mind and an open heart. It sees all life, however diverse, as one life; and it
respects and encourages diversity while celebrating unity. It is called
"Holism."The foundations
of a holistic community must be in its synthesis, applying all methods and ideas that
bring unity and creative efficiency. Synthesis is the opposite of dropping out, for
it refuses to stereotype any workable idea just because others have abused it. This planet
desperately needs healers in a greater sense... Leaders who can generate new solutions to
complex problems. Only the most deaf, blind or unenlightened skeptic would deny
this. A new generation of healers must be trained: they will not spring full-grown
from our good intentions. This training is taking place at Camelot.There has to be
trust in a community. There are some communities that try to make their policy
decisions at meetings of the whole community. They get into interminable discussions
because people haven't got the complete picture. This method does not work. At
Camelot, committees will be responsible for specific functions such as personnel, finance,
etc. Because the community trusts the decisions made by these committees there are
few problems.At a time when
some have been disheartened by sleazy gurus and communities that are rife with fanatics,
Camelot's devotion to love, light and respect of the path of truth will serve as a shining
example. Camelot is an intentional community of people living together, sharing all
of their resources, caring for each other, and working to create a cooperative, spiritual
and holistic way of life, in harmony with Nature and Mother Earth.Although Camelot
assumes responsibility for the needs of its members, receiving the products of their labor
and distributing these and all other goods based on need, each person is an individual and
can have certain personal possessions.Camelot uses a
planner/manager form of government. Community decisions are made by three Planners
elected by a majority of the full members, for staggered 24-month terms of office.
These three planners are guided by the a Council of Elders, who have overall executive
power as well as certain arbitrative functions. Appointed managers are responsible
for all areas of community life that need supervision (i.e., health, craft production,
animals, power, agriculture, etc.). There are dozens of such positions covering large and
small areas so that everyone who is qualified can become a manager. Sometimes
several managers or crews will share responsibility.Economic planning
is coordinated by three planners. They are responsible for distributing resources.
Planners and Managers receive no extra privileges because of their position. Members
normally make their wishes and desires known through personal conversations, open planner
meetings, polls and an opinion and idea board.Work is not seen
as just a means to an end. We try to make it an integral part of our lives. To
facilitate this, we have meetings each week to talk about priorities and how we are going
to accomplish our goals for that week. We also operate a labor credit system to organize
work and share it equitably, giving each member as much choice as possible. The
system combines a standard of planning and record keeping with a large amount of freedom
for the member to choose and vary their work. In addition to industry and
agriculture, the system includes child care, accounting, domestic and other necessary
activities. Members are assigned a minimum of 45 hours of work per week.At Camelot we
hear deeply and clearly the Great Spirit within. This calls for renewal of the Earth
Spirit. We all have the power to heal this planet and ourselves. In uniting
our earth religion spirit, we form a magickal alliance which makes all things possible.You have heard
prophets today in countless numbers, around every corner, and from every direction, who
insist that this decade will determine the future of Humankind. In a way they are
right. Gloom and doom issue from every lonely pulpit; everyone claims to know the
"One Thing" that will preserve our future; from nuclear energy to a return to
fundamentalism; from a reliance on science to the destruction of politics; from doing more
with less to having more for fewer.But these are
only partial solutions, and ignore the whole picture. In the close of the 70's we
began to see a spontaneous attempt to arrive at a collective mind and spirit; and in these

organic communities; overlapping, changing and accepting those of like minds who will
gather, and declare that there is a warm and secure place for each of us in the
relationship between Humanity, Earth and the Cosmos.
There is no challenge to humanity greater than the
striving to achieve community; the ability of each of us to be secure in our need to
acknowledge our relationships: With each other, With the Earth Mother and the Great
Spirit.
Camelot is a
holistic and spiritual community which meets this challenge by dedicating ourselves to an
attunement with nature through inner awareness training using the ancient technique of
Relinking:
Relinking with ourselves, to feel and act spontaneously;
Relinking with each other, male and female, understanding,
so we are no longer alone, but can touch each other without fear; and
Relinking with the flow of nature, with the earth, sky and
running water, so that we can walk in balance with the mother earth and Great Spirit.
Humankind, in
it's ignorance, has always assumed that the Earth would rejuvenate herself, no matter how
much we abused her. But the Earth can lose her resiliency; her waters are polluted,
her soil is becoming dust and her forests are being destroyed. Someday she may be
beyond her ability to heal herself; and what we do to her, we do to ourselves.
When humankind
and nature are in harmony, the Earth is a happy place. There is great strength in
this idea, which is the basic foundation of our religious teachings. We call the
Earth our mother, we protect her and have learned to live in harmony with her. We
have learned her moods and rhythms. We love the earth, for from her we are born, of
her sustenance we do eat and to her we must return. Our world is a circle of beauty,
of freedom, of innocence, learning neither guilt nor shame. To us all things of
Nature, all acts of Gentleness, Love and Pleasure, are sacred. Although what we do
is, in essence, spiritual, we are not long-faced mystics, forbidding all pleasure with a
promise of eternal bliss. Rather, we approach our works with a spontaneous joy and the
playfulness of a butterfly. Yes, we, the children of the Earth, are also the
Children of the Morning Star. We seek only to dance the Dance of Joy; the
Celebration of Life.
We deal with each
other in a tolerant, caring, and honest way. Openness is a very important value to all of
us, although the limitations are obvious among large groups of people. We attempt to
extend our peaceful philosophy to our verbal behaviors as well as the physical.
Meeting the social needs of everyone is important, but sometimes difficult. In
general though, support for emotional hard times is not difficult to find at
Camelot. There is a behavior code which includes the following interpersonal
agreements. We do not go around quoting them to each other, but they reflect the society
we are creating.
All members are equal in the
sense that they are entitled to the same privileges, advantages and respect.
All members are encouraged to
explain their work to other members who desire to learn, within the constraints of our
resources.
We do not speak negatively of
other members to a third party although constructive criticism is encouraged.
We try not to publicly
complain about things we think are wrong with the community. We feel that gripes are
best taken up with whoever is responsible for whatever is being criticized. Public
bitching is bad for morale; it imposes on those who overhear it and seldom takes the place
of positive concern and constructive suggestions.
We try to exercise
consideration and tolerance for each other's individual habits, as long as these do not
impose on others.
We encourage recognition of
individual accomplishments but we will not emphasize them. We, as a new society will
need our heroes, but we do not need the loss of self esteem that current western
civilization encourages.
We clean up after ourselves
after each project. We will not keep (any) articles longer than (they are) needed, but
return them to their place so they can be used by others.
No member will enter
another's space unless invited. Communal life makes privacy a right and we do not
violate it.
We try to love each other and
to be in the highest state of concern for each other. We realize that we need each
other. It takes a lot of work to create a relationship between two people much less
within a community.
We are creating a community
for life, not just a temporary haven for those who drop out of society. We ask each
other for a 100 percent commitment that this creation implies.
As we grow we
diversify our means of support, placing greater emphasis on primary products and services
such as food, shelter and education. This necessitates that the members of
Camelot form an organization which will interact with the outside world without revealing
the true location and nature of Camelot.Much of
our recreation consists of simply being together. We take walks, play music, and
spend a lot of time talking to each other. We play volleyball, run, lift weights,
fish, canoe, hike, swim, and folk-dance. Musical instruments are encouraged. We are
entertained by a large collection of books, records and tapes as well as the ever changing
woods and meadows. Individual hobbies are also encouraged. We will eventually
have a darkroom, pottery studio and arts and crafts shop. Our members visit mystical and
historical sites, attend concerts, and museums. We listen to some radio, watch
limited TV and subscribe to magazines. In short we are very much like other people.Our children are
raised by the community, as well as their parents. Evenings are set aside for
parents and other primary figures to maintain and deepen continuing relationships. There
is ample room for as much loving interaction as is mutually desirable with parents or with
other members of the community. We encourage the Bradley method of husband coached child
birth using Midwives. Nursing infants are encouraged to be breast-fed by their
mothers if at all possible. Eventually we will build and operate our own
school. The children will have regular pre-school lessons.
We feel that community child-care offers many advantages.
Parents who do not wish to put their full time into child-care are free to pursue other
work, thereby enabling others to share the pleasures and responsibilities of raising
children. Children in turn, are surrounded by adults who find fulfillment in children, and
their emotional and economic security has a broader base than just the relationship
between two people.
It is our policy
to be open to new members within certain limitations. These limitations are economic as
well as spiritual. But we will always be looking for ways to expand Camelot and its sister
communities as they are formed. Although there is limited membership available with
Camelot of the Wood, there is no restrictions placed upon admission to the sister
communities except that one must be an Initiate member of Dynion Mwyn.
There are no
admission fees. A prospective member must first ask permission of
a Dynion Mwyn member who will arrange an interview. A visit is then arranged with the
membership committee. If accepted, one becomes a provisional member for one year.
Provisional members do not vote and may be asked to leave for less drastic reasons
than full members.
After the
provisional period, the provisional member signs a contract with the community
agreeing to accept the community bylaws and behavior code. Financial arrangements are
detailed in the community handbook. In return, the member is guaranteed an equal
share of the benefits that the community provides.
Clothing and personal effects remain the property of the
member unless they are shared. Resources may be held outside the community for a period
not to exceed one year, but one cannot benefit from their use while a member.
Camelot-of-the-Wood
is a 2012 survival, work, study and learning community where Earth Religion philosophy is
experienced with warmth and personal consideration. Our members express their common bond
with the Earth Mother and Sky Father in various forms without fear of ridicule or
scorn. Camelot welcomes all forms of positive religious expression. The
ultimate goal of Camelot is the enlightenment of humanity through the establishment of a

Already, some communities along the Atlantic
Seaboard are setting up tsunami warning systems. The threat of
tsunamis isn't as great as with Japan or Indonesia but it is most
certainly real and prudent to plan ahead because landslides happen
on the East Coast as well as the Canary Islands.
The big event will not be
the destruction of the Earth, although there may be some rough sledding ahead. The
cataclysm is a collective coming of age. Civilization will end in A.D. 2012,
according to the Mayan calendar stone, as interpreted by Jose Arguelles, New Age
eschatologist, art historian, and author of _The Mayan Factor_. The Mayan calendar,
describes a 5,200-year Great Cycle beginning in 3113 B.C. and ending in A.D.
2012. This cycle, in turn, is embedded in a longer, 26,000-year cycle, composed of five
Great Cycles, which also ends in 2012. (Meaningful-coincidence buffs may note that this
long cycle, which Arguelles equates with the life span of Homo Sapiens, corresponds to the
26,000 years of Plato's "Great Year" and of the astrological precession of the
zodiac.) "What we are experiencing," he concludes, "is the climax of our
particular species and evolutionary stage -- the very last twenty-six years of a cycle
some twenty-six thousand years in length!" In 2023, will begin a Solar Age, a
postindustrial Utopia. "Everyone will have psychic ability. We'll live harmoniously
in post technological New Age villages -- equipped with "solar temples," lush
gardens, pleasure domes, and "houses of energy and information" -- so
communicate the Daughters of Cerridwen and the returned Mayan masters.
Uh Huh! Its more likely that we will be living
in huts and cultivating an acre of earth and hoping for a good harvest!
n 1973, responding to a
spiritual call of the God/dess,
and the 2012 prophecies, The Celtic Church of
Dynion Mwyn in America was
directed to the North Georgia mountains to locate a site for a spiritual and holistic
survival community; a community which would have as it's basis, an earth religion philosophy
and it goal: The Survival of Human Civilization After 2012.
Camelot-of-the-Woods
is structured as a living, open minded survival community of which our religion is just one facet.
This unique and exciting community will continue to take form in the fertile foothills of
the Blue Ridge Mountains of Northern Georgia. It is a community of the Old Religion for
the New Age, where not only personal and group survival is stressed, but spiritual
understanding, sharing, patience and love will be taught as a way of life. Several other
"Living" communities are also being established in North Georgia and in other
states.
These living
communities are hidden because of the danger from those who continually try to destroy our
religion. We do not foresee this secrecy to be repealed in the near future.
Sometime after 2012, Camelot-of-the-Wood be visible. But,
until then, Camelot will exist peacefully, in an undisclosed location.
During this
foundation period, which we believe will take another two years, the active members of
Camelot will be establishing a core program of Spiritual, Holistic and
private study in earth philosophy, with a natural approach to work and relationships. Four
styles of participation have emerged: a Full-Time Training Program through The Grove of
the Welsh Dragon; a Residential Program for
those initiates who live at Camelot, work there and elsewhere, and need a flexible
schedule; a Correspondence Program for seekers who live at a distance; and the Gathering
of the Tribes, held once a year. The Gathering provides daily meditation and
religious services, regular workshops and special events. There will also be
day-long and week-long retreats, and seminars.
Camelot is
dedicated to evolving and demonstrating a harmonious, fulfilling and supportive lifestyle,
and to creating new methods of communication and new ways of dealing with human
relationships. It will be a practical place where people can work, play, learn and
discover themselves with loving care.
Acknowledging
life itself as the first and greatest teacher, Camelot will exist to create working
holistic systems which will one day be shared with the world. It will embrace life through
its classes in health and healing, magick, horticulture, building, education, and esoteric
wisdom.
Underlying it all
is a commitment to establishing an effective balance and cooperation between the human
family and nature... learning to relink ourselves with nature and with each other.
But it doesn't come easy, this business of building a community. To begin with it
takes builders not spectators. And it takes a great deal of patience, commitment and
sacrifice. That is why there is such an extensive training program.
Don't come to
Dynion Mwyn expecting everyone to be whole and filled with love and light. If you
join us, you will meet people in the process of becoming whole, and often in the middle or
even in the early stages of a demanding, painful experience. In other words, season
your idealism with realism. Keep your feet on the ground while you explore the
stars. If you persevere you will be lead to Camelot.
If there is a
central prerequisite at Camelot, it is taking responsibility for your experience.
Relationships, communications, and challenges of all sorts are tools to use in becoming
whole; emotions are not something that happens to you but something you choose to do.
Communities are
as old as humanity. Many millennia ago, the earliest alliances were born of
necessity: the survivors of the Atlantian Cataclysm barely eked out enough food, shelter
and defense to keep humankind alive. But more than that, they became the crucible
within which we evolved.
Out of those
first primordial unions emerged our industrialized megasociety. Its price has been
steep. In its impersonal vastness, the individual has been sacrificed.
Pollster Louis Harris characterized the American Public as outraged and despairing ....and
that is the good news! The bad news, he added, is that Americans have nearly
exhausted their options to deal with the frustration and are beginning to realize it.
There is a
natural philosophy which is shared by Camelot members. This new vision values an
open mind and an open heart. It sees all life, however diverse, as one life; and it
respects and encourages diversity while celebrating unity. It is called
"Holism."
The foundations
of a holistic community must be in its synthesis, applying all methods and ideas that
bring unity and creative efficiency. Synthesis is the opposite of dropping out, for
it refuses to stereotype any workable idea just because others have abused it.
This planet
desperately needs healers in a greater sense... Leaders who can generate new solutions to
complex problems. Only the most deaf, blind or unenlightened skeptic would deny
this. A new generation of healers must be trained: they will not spring full-grown
from our good intentions. This training is taking place at Camelot.
There has to be
trust in a community. There are some communities that try to make their policy
decisions at meetings of the whole community. They get into interminable discussions
because people haven't got the complete picture. This method does not work. At
Camelot, committees will be responsible for specific functions such as personnel, finance,
etc. Because the community trusts the decisions made by these committees there are
few problems.
At a time when
some have been disheartened by sleazy gurus and communities that are rife with fanatics,
Camelot's devotion to love, light and respect of the path of truth will serve as a shining
example. Camelot is an intentional community of people living together, sharing all
of their resources, caring for each other, and working to create a cooperative, spiritual
and holistic way of life, in harmony with Nature and Mother Earth.
Although Camelot
assumes responsibility for the needs of its members, receiving the products of their labor
and distributing these and all other goods based on need, each person is an individual and
can have certain personal possessions.
Camelot uses a
planner/manager form of government. Community decisions are made by three Planners
elected by a majority of the full members, for staggered 24-month terms of office.
These three planners are guided by the a Council of Elders, who have overall executive
power as well as certain arbitrative functions. Appointed managers are responsible
for all areas of community life that need supervision (i.e., health, craft production,
animals, power, agriculture, etc.). There are dozens of such positions covering large and
small areas so that everyone who is qualified can become a manager. Sometimes
several managers or crews will share responsibility.
Economic planning
is coordinated by three planners. They are responsible for distributing resources.
Planners and Managers receive no extra privileges because of their position. Members
normally make their wishes and desires known through personal conversations, open planner
meetings, polls and an opinion and idea board.
Work is not seen
as just a means to an end. We try to make it an integral part of our lives. To
facilitate this, we have meetings each week to talk about priorities and how we are going
to accomplish our goals for that week. We also operate a labor credit system to organize
work and share it equitably, giving each member as much choice as possible. The
system combines a standard of planning and record keeping with a large amount of freedom
for the member to choose and vary their work. In addition to industry and
agriculture, the system includes child care, accounting, domestic and other necessary
activities. Members are assigned a minimum of 45 hours of work per week.
At Camelot we
hear deeply and clearly the Great Spirit within. This calls for renewal of the Earth
Spirit. We all have the power to heal this planet and ourselves. In uniting
our earth religion spirit, we form a magickal alliance which makes all things possible.
You have heard
prophets today in countless numbers, around every corner, and from every direction, who
insist that this decade will determine the future of Humankind. In a way they are
right. Gloom and doom issue from every lonely pulpit; everyone claims to know the
"One Thing" that will preserve our future; from nuclear energy to a return to
fundamentalism; from a reliance on science to the destruction of politics; from doing more
with less to having more for fewer.
But these are
only partial solutions, and ignore the whole picture. In the close of the 70's we
began to see a spontaneous attempt to arrive at a collective mind and spirit; and in these
attempts we began to recognize a challenge more basic than any other: learning to form
organic communities; overlapping, changing and accepting those of like minds who will
gather, and declare that there is a warm and secure place for each of us in the
relationship between Humanity, Earth and the Cosmos.
When humankind
and nature are in harmony, the Earth is a happy place. There is great strength in
this idea, which is the basic foundation of our religious teachings. We call the
Earth our mother, we protect her and have learned to live in harmony with her. We
have learned her moods and rhythms. We love the earth, for from her we are born, of
her sustenance we do eat and to her we must return. Our world is a circle of beauty,
of freedom, of innocence, learning neither guilt nor shame. To us all things of
Nature, all acts of Gentleness, Love and Pleasure, are sacred. Although what we do
is, in essence, spiritual, we are not long-faced mystics, forbidding all pleasure with a
promise of eternal bliss. Rather, we approach our works with a spontaneous joy and the
playfulness of a butterfly. Yes, we, the children of the Earth, are also the
Children of the Morning Star. We seek only to dance the Dance of Joy; the
Celebration of Life.
All members are equal in the
sense that they are entitled to the same privileges, advantages and respect.
