Our Charter:

SEPA is an Alliance of Witchcraft, Pagan and Wiccan groups in the southeastern US. This area includes, Georgia, Alabama, Florida, North and South Carolina, Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, West Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee, Mississippi, Arkansas, and Louisiana.

SEPA was founded to satisfy the special needs of Wiccans, Druids, and other Pagans in an increasingly hostile world. We are run by a democratic council of Pagans who strive to keep our rules just and protective, while being as unrestrictive as possible. SEPA encompasses both individual and group needs, and does not endorse any particular thought or religious belief other than the sanctity of our religious freedom.

SEPA has four goals: the first being the legal protection of Pagans and Paganism and continuing defense of our First Amendment Rights, the second being the protection of Pagans and Non-Pagans from dangerous or fraudulent educators or clergy, the third being the education of the Non-Pagan community as to what Paganism is and what pagans do, and our fourth, and most important; accessible and safe education for both secular Pagans and would be clergy.

All groups and educators represented and endorsed by SEPA must follow a basic code of ethics, or risk losing all protection, representation and student access.    The code of ethics must include but is not limited by the following criterea:

All SEPA members must follow a version of the Wiccan Rede: "An it harm none, do as you will," whether Wiccan or not. This includes not only physical harm to individual people, but "Brainwashing," body altering, and animal sacrifice.

All groups represented by SEPA must exclude minors from religious activities unless the parent or guardian accompanies the minor or gives written consent for the minor to attend. Rituals at which people under the age of eighteen are present may not be performed "Skyclad."

If the priest or priestess of a member group is under the age of eighteen, he or she must be supervised by a person of at least twenty-one years of age.

Send all SEPA correspondence to: SEPA

The Eclectic Coven of Red Mountain is an independent Birmingham, Alabama-based coven founded for the practice of Wicca, the pursuit of learning, and the promotion of tolerance. ECRM is incorporated as a non-profit religious organization in the State of Alabama. We began as a circle of solitaries, coming together to celebrate the sabbats and learn from each other, then evolved into a coven in 1998. We are a very eclectic group in every way -- backgrounds, traditions, and personalities -- who agree to abide by the Wiccan Rede, to serve the community within and without, and to honor the Lady and Lord.

We are an eclectic working/teaching tradition utilizing a three degree system of training and attainment. We hold regular (and sometimes irregular) weekly meetings; we celebrate the Sabbats, and we come together when appropriate for spellwork. In general, we create our own rituals, recipes, and crafts. Three of our members are formally ordained. We have a  High Priestess and High Priest as well as other officers (Maiden, Summoner, Watcher, etc.) who act when and where appropriate for the group. Outside of Coven activities, each member remains an autonomous individual practitioner.  Within Coven, all decisions are made by a consensus of the council of all members in accordance with our bylaws. When we act, we act as one.

Currently, our major focus is education -- both of our members and of the community at large. Through our community education division, Eclectic Circle, we offer programming on topics related to comparative religion, world spirituality and mythology. Programs are selected to appeal to an eclectic audience of diverse backgrounds and faiths and designed to inform and entertain, to encourage open-minded discourse, and to foster a culture of tolerance, understanding and mutual respect. All Eclectic Circle programs are free and open to the public.

  • Silver Moons Children of Time, Belle Glade, Florida, Dianic, email--Chrissy Hecate:   -  We are Dianics but have changed it a bit, with the entrance of males into the coven.   Traditional Dianics are all females that wish to have only female energies around them.  we feel it is important that both the male and female be represented, as it provides a balance.
  • Florida Pagan Network Provides a resource for Florida Pagans to network with each other both online and offline. We hope that through networking we can strengthen and unify the Florida Pagan community. We utilize a system of area coordinators which allow us to quickly relay information to all of the FPN members in regards to current events, emergency situations, and meeting with other Pagans locally. • Bardic Grove, Tamarac, Florida Welsh/Celtic tradition, we celebrate 8 Sabbats, the Full and New Moons, and we are also members of Covenant of the Goddess. From time to time we teach beginning Wicca classes, and we consider ourselves to be a teaching coven and a bardic coven.
  • The Gnostic Oracle Coven, 20541 Lk. Patience Rd., Land O Lakes, Fl 34639  We at the Gnostic Oracle Coven are a traditional teaching coven, accepting only serious spiritual people.  There is an open meditation and drumming circle held every friday night at 7:30pm. here, we teach every thing from earth magic to ceremonial magic. Interested parties may e-mail us at or call 813-996-4806.
  • Compass Coven is an eclectic Wiccan coven, the founding coven for the Compass tradition. We are a closed circle, and do not take on students, but we are very active in community networking. We worship the Triple Goddess and Horned God, though our coven is particularly consecrated to Herne. Our tradition prizes pontenaeity(sp?) and inspiration, and we never use the same ritual twice, as we believe this leads to rote recital instead of a conscious opening to the Gods. We do not use a degree system, and merely distinguish between initiates and non-initiates. Our practice varies between an hp/hps model and a dual priestess model, depending on our membership. Our high priest died last October, and so we are currently using the latter system. We have nine members at this time, scattered throughout the Tampa Bay area.  e-mail to:
