The imagery is heavy handed, the symbolism is in your face, and I could feel the choir stretching the whole enterprise towards an almost Speilbergian level of emotional manipulation. Still, it's message is heartfelt and true, and who ever said animation has to be subtle and sophisticated, anyway? Besides which, this thing is more like a living editorial cartoon than Saturday morning fare.
